Report Card Overview
Your child will be graded using the number scores of 1, 2, 3, and 3+.
3 + = Exceeds Standards - In addition to the 3, makes applications and inferences beyond expectations
(This level is very rarely achieved due to the rigor of our standards)
3 = Meets Standards - Consistently and independently
2 = Progressing toward meeting standards (This level is common as we are still progressing towards meeting our
standards)
1 = Limited progress or does not meet standards
Agendas
Please read and sign daily Your signature means:
that you read any notes reviewed any homework your child has read
Homework:
• I do not give a lot of homework. The kids work hard all day long. I do expect daily reading! It is important that your child read for at least 15 minutes each night. You can read to your child too! This is a great way to get extra snuggles.
• We have spelling patterns that we work on for the week. Practice will be sent home weekly. We will not have a spelling list.
• Math homework will be sent home as needed
Dojo
Dojo points are earned and lost based on behaviors.
The goal is to earn at least 3 points a day
Field Trips We are working on a few field trips! This fall we will be going to a play at the
Center For Puppetry Arts! In the spring, we will go to the Yellow
River Game Ranch! We will have a story teller come in the
spring! More information will come home at a
later date.
