Welcome to Los Angeles Job Corps
Our Center's Mission
At Los Angeles Job Corps Center , we support the Job Corps program’s mission to teach eligible young people the skills they need to become employable and
independent and place them in meaningful jobs or further education.
What is Job Corps? Job Corps is the largest nationwide residential career training program in the country
and has been operating from more than 50 years. The program help eligible young people ages 16 through 24 complete their high school education, trains them for meaningful careers, and assists them with obtaining employment. Job Corps has
trained and educated over two million individuals since 1964
The Los Angeles Job Corps is located in the heart of LA’s booming downtown redevelopment. The Staples Center, City Walk, the
Convention Center, the beautiful downtown Library and Performing Arts Center are all within walking distance. Residential and non residential
students attend the new, urban campus.
