FRANCIS BAY ADVEnTuRE This is probably our favourite weekend adventure of all time, although all of them are awesome. Plett is one the most beautiful little coastal towns, very neat, quaint and plenty good restaurants in town or on the beach. The bay itself is protected by a mountain range and an island peninsula which we usually hike to see marine life from the tops of the cliffs (whales, sharks, dolphins and seals). Just 2.5 Hours from Port Elizabeth lays an adventure town just waiting for you to explore it all activities are in close proximity to the town, so being based in Plett is a perfect action packed weekend adventure. The snorkel dive adventure will be based in Plettenberg Bay, where we will be within walking distance to the boats and beach. The opportunity to spend a whole weekend diving with Seals, Dolphins, Sunfish, Whales, Sharks and reef Fish is an experience of a lifetime, not to mention the Robberg Island hike to view coastal animals from the towering cliffs. Underwater footage will be taken and be made available to you, but remember to pack in your GoPro’s for some incredible footage. No dive accreditation is required as this a snorkel dive. In between dives and ocean safari’s there is the possibility to explore the surroundings and other activities such as kayaking, sunset drinks off the cliffs, scenic flights over the bay or simple relax and catch some sun on the beach. Freewalker is offering a weekend adventure to the mystical and majestic Hogsback village high up in the Amathole Mountain Range. The Afro-mountain forest walks are enchanting and easy to see why Lord of the Rings was inspired from here. This is a more relaxed weekend for those looking for the great outdoors, forest hikes, waterfalls, river and majestic sunset viewpoints. Freewalker is offering a Safari weekend to a private game reserve 45 minutes out of Port Elizabeth. Clients will enjoy two nights of bush accommodation, with afternoon, night and morning game drives and meals being served in an open air lapa nestled in the heart of the reserve and finally end the weekend off with a Sunday Addo Elephant National Park tour. Sunset drinks overlooking the wildlife and log fires can be expected. Bring your cameras as this proves to be a weekend filled with some of our best wildlife sightings in the Eastern Cape. Eastern Cape – Western Cape & vice versaThis 5-7 day pure adventure and culture trip down the World Famous Garden Route is aimed at groups of International Volunteers, Students or travellers who want everything planned in regard to activities, accommodation, meals, transport and the local know how to avoid wasting time, and getting to do everything the group requested. The various adventure areas offer all the ultimate experiences you need to tick off your bucket list while visiting our extremely diverse Country. All along the route we experience the thrills of various adventure activities and must see sites. JBay is known for its super laid back surfer town environment with some great outdoor activities surrounding it. Known for its perfect wave and a World renowned surfing spot: Super Tubes, hosting numerous events and attracting plenty International awareness. JBay is 45 minutes from Port Elizabeth and offers a relaxed adventure with plenty options surrounding the town. It has been a huge success with all our past International groups. JBay has a really cool coastal backpackers that we stay at, and from there we are able to do a bunch of activities. A weekend escape to Freewalker’s pristine 150 hectare farm estate 2 minutes out of Port Elizabeth, 1 hour from the Reserves. The Base Camp is conveniently situated 5 minutes from Sardinia Bay, a conserved coastal area where we do sandboarding, snorkelling and sunset drinks off the towering dunes. This weekend package or 2 day option is a great option to treat your group to a relaxed weekend filled with activities of your choice.
