The PACE Centre
The PACE Centre• Established since 1990
• Small parent-led group with 5 children and 3 staff into a charity across 4 sites with over 80 full time staff providing services to 100 children
• What is Cerebral Palsy?
• All aspects of the young child’s development needs are addressed in their education at PACE
• Curriculum
• Motor needs (movement)
• Communication needs (speaking)
• Self-care ( self contained flat for older children)
• Social and emotional (interaction with older children and dealing with emotions of everyday life.
• Physiotherapists, speech therapists, conductors, classroom assistants. One to one support.
Fundraising
Where your money goes• £10 can pay for: A tub of Thera-Putty to develop hand and finger strength• £30 can pay for: A set of chewy tubes to practice biting and chewing skills• £50 can pay for: A grasp bar, for children to practice standing, sitting and posture
• £100 can pay for:• A wobble switch, which can allow children with significant motor disorders to access
computer equipment• A walking ladder, to help our children learn and practice standing and walking skills
• £200 can pay for:• Specialist sports equipment for one of our classes• An initial assessment for a child by one of our skilled therapists

Raising Money Outside of School
£10 from everyone in Cadbury House
Our aim for the end of the year is for each member of Cadbury House to have raised £10 or more outside of school!
At the end of the school year a prize will be given to whoever raises the most amount of money for each year group!
What can you do to raise money outside of school?
- Car washing- Christmas Carolling- Wrapping up Christmas gifts for your relatives- Chores around the house- Placing Cadbury House charity money box in events
such as guide plays, pantomimes etc- Dog Walking- You can work as a pair or on your own or as a team
