MyWellness is published quarterly by the Employee Benefits Department for HCR ManorCare employees.

There’s a new point of entry for employees – and spouses, too – to quickly and easily get a flavor of the company’s benefits. This new “microsite” uses the same website address as MyBenefits Online at www.benefits.hcr-manorcare.com but allows you access to general benefits information without having to log in.

You’ll find benefits content that syncs with the employment life cycle, so you can easily find answers to commonly asked questions whether you’re a new employee or have just experienced a change in life or work that opens a special enrollment opportunity.

All personal information and data are password-protected within the enrollment site, so you’ll still need to register and log in to enroll or change your benefits.

HCR ManorCare’s newest education discount partner is Purdue University Global. Purdue Global is part of the Purdue University system and was established in 2017 when Purdue University acquired Kaplan University, a long-time leader in online adult education.

Purdue Global offers more than 180 online programs for undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degrees in the areas of criminal justice, education, social and behavioral sciences, health sciences, nursing, business and information technology, and legal studies.

Purdue combines students’ past training, learning and experience to reduce costs and accelerate degrees. Students can earn credit for what they already know without having to retake courses or relearn material. Purdue also offers a learning recognition course prior to enrolling, so students can evaluate their skills and experience.

Purdue University Global offers a 14 percent discounted rate off tuition, and the application fee is waived for students through December 31, 2018. All first-time Purdue University Global undergraduate students are eligible for a three-week trial without financial obligation. Enroll in real classes for real credit. Students can “opt out” within the first three weeks without any financial obligation.
