INDUSTRIAL WEIGHING & AUTOMATION SYSTEMS Leon-Engineering Weigh Feeder- LEMC www.leon-engineering.com Product Description LEMC weighfeeders are used to control or monitor the flowrate and totalise the amount of material passing over the conveyor.Applications in industry are wide and diverse. Weighfeeders are commonly used to maintain a flowrate at some critical level. For example; a fluid bed drier can dry sand at 5 tonnes per hour. If the flowrate falls below this level, the drier is inefficient. If it rises above this level, the drier will not dry the sand sufficiently. The solution is a weighfeeder feeding the sand at say 4.8 tonnes per hour, resulting in a reliable operation at peak efficiency, with product quality being maintained. Moreover, weighfeeders are used to control the flow of materials, multiple units are often set up to create a continuous blend of solids to a desired recipe. This may involve one master feeder and several slaves, each feeding a preset percentage, or a simple pair of weighfeeders provid- ing a desired mix of materials. Also,w eighfeeders are used to monitor incoming materials for inven- tory control and outgoing, processed material to check on true production rates. They may also be used to batch out a desired amount of material where bin weighing is not practical. Basic Features Sealed, direct drive, AC gearmotor. High resolution loadcell.
