“WINE & SHRINE” EVENTS
Westphalia-On June 17th, the second annual Wine & Shrine
event will be held at Kempkers’ Back-40, a beautiful outdoor
venue in Westphalia. You are invited to bring a bottle of
wine or other beverage and also a snack, if desired. Bottled
water will be available.
Linn-On June 18th, St. George Parish in Linn, MO, will also
host a follow-up Wine & Shrine event located in the school
cafeteria. You may bring wine or whatever you would like to
drink, and they will provide the cheese, crackers and snacks!
Relax and enjoy drinks while listening to our speaker’s
amazing survival story. Robert Bartlett was a Sergeant and
Scout Sniper in the US Army. On May 3rd, 2005, his vehicle
was struck by an IED. He suffered multiple injuries, including
a direct hit to his face. He died and was resuscitated 3
different times. Hear about what was revealed to him during
his near-death experience and about the miracles he
received, including one he received while visiting the Shrine
of Our Lady in Lourdes, France. Music provided by The
Osage Angels and other-area-youth musicians.

Camp Maccabee 2019
Camp Maccabee was founded in
2009 with the purpose of forming bold,
Catholic, masculine leaders. Since
then, the camp has evolved into a
much-anticipated summer event for
many young Catholic men (grades 9-
12) across the Diocese of Jefferson
City. Camps are in St. Roberts on June
16-21, June 23-28, and July 21-26. For

CHRISTpower
An authentically Catholic service
retreat for high school students to
grow in relationship with Jesus Christ
and his Church, where a safe
environment is created for each
retreatant to ask the question: “Who
is God the Father creating me to
become?” Retreatants are divided
into teams. In the course of a week,
each team goes to five different
service sites. In the evening, everyone
is brought back together, where
uplifting Christian music and activities
allow the retreatants to grow in their
relationships with Jesus Christ, each
other and themselves. Camp is at
