What are Fables? Fables come from different parts of the world. They tell

stories about people or animals. Fables are not true

stories. But every fable has a moral (lesson) about life.

Read the two fables that you have for today (The Lion

and the Mouse & Sinbad and the Genie). Then, discuss

with your partner the moral or the lesson of each fable.
