Possibly the most famous speech in modern history

Dr. King helped people catch the vision of all people in America having equal rights

Dr. King’s started his speech talking about the past, then he spoke about current conditions and finally his vision/dream for the future (The video only shows the end of his speech)

President John F. Kennedy “Land a man on the

moon…” Speech was given in 1961 Space race with Russia (had already

had the first man in space) He cast the vision for America to land on

the moon before 1970, and we did it in 1969

President Ronald Reagan “Tear down this wall…”

He challenged the leader of Russia to take down a wall that separated a free people from those who had to stay behind the walls of communism

Speech was given in 1987 The Berlin wall was built in 1961 and

was a symbol for communism. The Berlin Wall fell in 1989.

“Tucker” Preston Tucker

Tucker was a man who invented a new kind of car that was so popular, the other car companies shut it down

SEC and politicians (likely supported by GM, Ford and Chrysler) raised controversy

He cast the vision for people to have the freedom to invent what they dream
