STUDENT ID’SSTUDENT ID’SNEED TO BE WORN AT ALL TIMES. On Friday, September 7th, all
students must have an I.D. card.
Any students other than Freshmen and Seniors can purchase a replacement I.D. for $1.00 from Wednesday Aug 29th through Thursday, September 6th. After that time it will be a $3.00 replacement cost.
See Mrs. Decker in the Front Office if you are coming during your Study Hall 2B class. Be sure to have a pass.

STUDY GUIDELINES Begin with the right kind of thinking. Learning should be
fun and inspiring, especially English, a subject that isn't about "right" or "wrong" answers but about responses, ideas, and questions. English is the place that rewards independence and risk.
That said: Read everything. Read everything slowly. Read everything twice.
Annotate as you read. See How and Why to Annotate a Book. If class doesn't show you how better to understand the text, then
you need more sleep. Be active in class. Follow the discussion. Annotate your text. Take
notes. Ask questions. Make comments. Class is more than class. It's practice.
Writing top-notch essays takes time. Give yourself plenty. Don't like the grades you're getting on essays? Start work early
