1. INTRODUCTION

Wedding Silver template would precisely meet any needs of stores selling wedding

necessities, such as: flowers, jewelry, bridal suits…. It is designed on the silver

background which is ideal to highlight products of your shops. Since coming from a

unique style, the theme will grant all visitors a luxury but very sweet feeling. In addition

to easy installation, this template is completely customizable, helping you obtain a

wedding-store as special as you wish. Let’s discover it and set up for your site!

Theme Switcher: display the appropriate theme automatically when

customers access your site through different browsers and platforms,

including mobile phones (iPhone, BlackBerry, Android…)

Several options when installing: install the template only, set up with full

extensions or select preferred extensions that we provide

PSD file and special fonts of this template (in case you want to edit)

Compatible with Magento version 1.4x, 1.5x and 1.6x



2. HOW TO INSTALL

After purchasing, you can download the file at once. Extract the contents of the

archive on your computer and navigate inside the extracted folder.

It’s required to enable cache in the administration panel of your site. Go to System >

Cache Management. Choose all caches and take action “Enable” then submit.

Use FTP client (like Filezilla, WinSCP, cuteFtp) to upload (copy) folders in the zip

package to your Magento site root folder. This will not overwrite any existing files, it

only adds new files to the folder structure. Please note that with a template, we

provide you 4 folders, choose the most appropriate packages to upload to your site:

“Source” folder: provides PSD files and special fonts for you to easily customize

your template

“Template only” folder: contains all source code of template and does not include

extensions. It is convenient for installing on online-store, preventing conflict

between extensions attached with templates and available extensions on the site.

“Template full” folder: consists of the template and all extensions, suitable for

building site.

“Extensions” folder: contains extensions only, customers can decide which

extensions to use for the site.

After uploading is done, Log in your Magento administration panel to refresh cacheif

the cache is being enabled on your site. Go to System > Cache Management. Select

all caches and take action “Refresh” then submit.

You will see a pop-up leading you to install the new theme by some steps. You can

complete this set-up process very easily by some clicks as same as installing a

software. In order to simplify your own installation, please take following steps:



Step 1

The system asks if you want to install theme at this time. Click on Next to go on

installing.

If you do not want to set up theme now, you can continue the installation by

going to System → Configuration → Theme Installer. Afterwards, click on

Install Now link.



Step 2

In this step, you will be requested to select which theme to install for your site.

Step 3

The system asks whether or not you want to create the default static blocks for

template. Yes answer is suggested because this will help your website obtain fully-

designed interface as our original ideas.



Step 4

The question is provided here that if you want to create the cms page default for

template or not. If you select Yes the system will continue asking you about using

default Homepage. The answer Yes is appropriated for a sufficient design.

Step 5

For this step, you will be required to answer whether or not you want to use the

default banners which are shown on Homepage.



Step 6

This step allows you to install the added extensions. You are able to choose

extensions which you need to use.

Step 7

The successful result of installation is displayed. Now, you can click on Finish

button to complete this process. Then, go to the frontend, you will see that this

theme had been applied.



3. HOW TO CONFIGURE

3.1. Configure a new template for the system

Your web-site remains using the old template after this template has been installed. In

order to use the new theme, please take these steps:

Login back-end

Go to menu System/ Configuration

Choose tab Design on the left side menu

Package section: keep using default

Themes section: Set template for system by adding name of the the new

template to Default field: wedding-silver

Header section: Config new logo for system by changing name of Logo image

file to logo.png



3.2. Configure static blocks

After your site is adapted to the new theme, static blocks will be created automatically.

Below are steps to edit each block in case you want to.

3.2.1Wedding Silver About Store Block

Position

Login Back-end

Go to CMS/ Static Blocks

Select Wedding Silver About Store

Change the content of this block



Click on Save Block button

3.3. Configure Home page

The content of this part will help you easily install and configure new Homepage for

your website.

Steps to set up new homepage:

Login Back-end

Go to System/ Configuration

Choose menu Web on the left

Select tab Default Pages

Set CMS Home Page as Wedding Silver Home

Click on Save Config button



Steps to edit home page content:

Login Back-end

Go to CMS/ Pages

Select Wedding Silver Home to edit

Choose tab Content on the left

Edit the content in the text editor

Click on Save Page button



3.4. Configure Banners

You can make a new banner or edit it through our guide below:

Steps to add new banner:

Login Back-end

Go to Bannerslider/ Manage Banners

Select button Add banner

Choose Browse to select banner

Click on Save Banner button



Steps to edit banner:

Login Back-end

Go to Bannerslider/ Manage Banners

Click on button Edit to edit banner

3.5. Configure Featured Product

In order to create featured products, please take the following steps:

Login back-end

Select menu Featured Product/ Manage Featured Product



Select items which are featured products

Choose the action Change featured product

Click on Submit button
