Transportation & Equipment Worksheet Basics
• Used to handle the allocation of vehicle expenses
• Can allocate on the basis of miles driven or hours equipment is used or can use both
– Transportation allocates on miles per vehicle
– Equipment allocates on hours per equipment
• Vehicles can be enter individually or as a group
• Method to allocate to functional categories is the same as for payroll

Total Utility Plant in Service Worksheets
Depreciation Expense is entered here. As well as
allocating depreciation expense to transportation,
equipment and stores. Salvage values also can be
entered.
Total Utility Plant in Service Worksheets
Depreciation Expense is entered here for production
and transmission and distribution as a percentage of
plant totals. For general plant, either a percentage or a
manual calculation can be entered. Check and
uncheck to change method.
All that work and finally we get to total Net Utility
Plant.
