WORD OF THE 1st DAY: GENEROSITY that

comes from the adjective generous 4/26P13

Generous is an adjective. From this word, it can be used or transformed to:

1. Become noun by adding ITY=Generosity or

2. Become an adverb: Generously

Usage Example:

Sebagai noun (Kata Benda)

"My brother was overwhelmed by the generosity of friends and

neighbors"

Sebagai adverb (Menerangkan kata kerja or verb)

Please give generously to a charity. In this example, generously

explains the act of giving (or give)

WORD OF THE 2nd DAY: SHARING that

comes from the verb to share (4/27P13)Sharing is in a present participle form of to share. It means to give (something) to

others. Because it is a verb, it will be affected by time: Present (To share), present

participle (Sharing), past tense (Shared) and past participles (Shared). This is a regular

verb.

1. Present: Lucy frequently shares her history class notes to Susan.

2. Present participle: As Bob passed by the hallway, He saw Lucy was sharing her

History class notes to Susan. Kalimat ini lebih komplek dan perlu diketahui tenses.

3. Past tense: Last week Lucy shared her History class note to Susan.

4. Past participle: a participle that typically expresses completed action, that is

traditionally one of the principal parts of the verb, and that is traditionally used in

English in the formation of perfect tenses in the active voice and of all tenses in the

passive voice. Contoh: (1P). The food is shared to the homeless by Tom. (2A). Before

Tom left his house, he shared the food to the homeless.
