17 Snow Avenue North Pole NE6 3BA Dear Josh I am very grateful for your letter Josh. I hope you have been a good boy for your family and your teachers. It is freezing cold in the North Pole in December and there is loads of snow. The elves like to have fun and play games. Did you know that Mrs Claus and I have the biggest Christmas tree in the world? I like shandy and cookies. My favourite cookies are chocolate chip! I have 8 reindeers. If you want, you can leave carrots for my reindeers, as they get very hungry at this time of year. I have lots of elves but when I deliver presents, I only take three with me in my sleigh. My hobby is making presents for all the children around the world. I will try my best to deliver your presents to you but I will l have to see you behave. I am going to go now because I have all the elves’ presents to wrap. Merry Christmas! From Santa

Dear Nathan

Thank you for your lovely letter. I have been watching you Nathan and realised you’ve been a very good boy and turned yourself around. I am very proud of you Nathan!

To answer your questions, my age is 1,747 years old but I feel like I’m 24! Rudolph’s nose is as bright as a light bulb! My favourite drink is coca cola. I changed my suit to red many years ago because I love it that much! On my sleigh I go extremely fast so I can get to everyone’s house in one night. It is very hard work

Rudolph and I had a disaster just the other day; we couldn’t get the other reindeers to fly! With some Christmas magic, we got those reindeers up and running in no time.

Nathan I will have a word with the elves about your presents.

Have a very merry Christmas!

Dear little Hayden

Thank you for your letter. I get many letters but this one stood out because you try hard in your gymnastics and that is great!Out here in the North Pole at this time of year it gets busy as the elves are getting all of the toys ready for the good children and the coal ready for the naughty ones. I am happy to say you’re on the nice list.Something sad happened this year. Mrs Claus became sick and couldn’t bake cookies she getting better now ready for Christmas to see me fly away.To answer your questions: in deer years Rudolph is 157, I like cookies dipped in the milk, I am as old as the first polar bear and I have 75 elves currently. I am always looking for more you want to join?

I will try my best to get all of the gifts to you but call of duty might have to wait till you’re 18.

Have a merry Christmas From Santa

Dear Harley

Sorry I have not replied to your letter sooner. This time of the year gets very busy for me and my wife as lots and lots of other little children send me letters too and I am rushed off my feet making toys with the elves.Last week there was a power cut in the grotto and it takes a long time for an electrician to get to the North Pole. We couldn’t make toys for days, luckily Dave the elf-trician fixed it so we are back in business at Santa’s Toys and Co.I cannot tell you Mrs Claus’ age as you never ask a lady her age, the elves build around 1000 toys a day, Rudolf’s nose is as bright as St Marys light house and I love milk over shandy.

Yours sincerely

Santa

Tuesday 19th December 2017Dear child,

Thank you so much for your letter, and well done in your gymnastics class. Because of your hard work I am writing this letter to you.During this time of year it is quite cold and dark here so up north (No sunlight for six months!), and it is quite busy during the run up to the big day. We have to get the reindeer ready for the trip across the world, making practice flights around my grotto. The elves sort the presents into batches to do with each country, and help load up my sleigh. On other months of the year we do activities such as sledding, snowman building, snowball fights and even competitions to see who can make the best snow-castle.It is a little bit difficult to remember due to how long it has been, but in all of my honesty I would say Rudolph is around 90-100 years of age. That makes him the youngest on my team.To be truthful I quite like cookies and milk, but cookies will always hold a special place in my golden heart.I am far older than you would imagine.I have one thousand elves in total, but they are split into teams of one hundred. We have names for each team and my most favourite is The Wrapping Division. The North Pole may be a nice place, but not everything goes to plan. I remember that one year the elves forgot to close and lock the door to the stables, meaning that all the reindeer got out! We had to round them all up and Rudolph would not get down from this one mountain unless he got more carrots than Dasher!Concerning your presents that you would like, I will have a word with my elves to see what we can do.Have a Merry Christmas and a very happy new year.Love from

Santa Claus xx
