Future New Yorkers need advice

Dear 4th graders,

I hear that you have become experts on New York State this year. I am looking for advice on a few things to decide which city/town is best to move my family to. I have asked your teacher to provide you with some more information than you may have learned in your classroom. Please use these to help me make a decision. I do not need everything on my list for one place, but would really like as many of these things included where I move my family. I am looking for a population of around 100,000 or less. We would like to be in as least snowy of an area as possible, near many public campgrounds and have a sales tax rate of 8.5% or less. If there are other features you think we should know about where you pick, please let me know! Thank you for your help!

Sincerely,Dan Rogers
