2. Meeting with Mr. Ravi Kumar Jain, Cd’A, Embassy of India, Ljubljana and B2B meetings with the Slovenian companies.
Mr. Ravi Kumar Jain, Cd’A welcomed the AEPC’s delegation to Ljubljana and explained about the importance of Slovenian RMG market in expanding RMG export from India to Slovenia.
B2B meetings with the Slovenian companies were organised by Embassy of India, Ljubljana in the meeting hall of Embassy of India.
Sh. H K L Magu, Chairman-AEPC briefed Sh. Ravi Kumar Jain, Cd’A and the Slovenian companies about the objectives of the visit of the delegation to Ljubljana, Slovenia and the following points were briefed by Chairman-AEPC to Mr. Ravi Kumar Jain and the participating companies.

B2B Meetings with the Slovenian Companies
Chairman-AEPC explained about the export of RMG from India to Slovenia as per details given below:
Chairman-AEPC explained about India International Garment Fair which is being organised from 16-18 January, 2019 at International Expo Mart, Greater Noida, India and requested Mr. Ravi Kumar Jain to recommend good buyers of apparel to attend the fair. It was also informed that the eligible buyers shall be given complimentary 3 days
hotel stay at Greater Noida in a star hotel. All the participating Slovenian companies were invited to attend IIGF fair in July, 2019.
Chairman-AEPC has also explained that India has strength in availability of cheap skilled manpower, vertically integrated manufacturing plants, reasonable electricity tariffs, reasonable real estate rents and good designing capabilities. The above strengths makes India a suitable sourcing destination for the buyers to source RMG from India.
Major brands like Zara, Mango, American Eagle Outfitters, Chicos, Monoprix, Dorthry Perkins, Inditex, Pimki, Justice USA and Super Dry etc. source from India their requirement of readymade garments.
Shri Anil Peshawari, EC Member-AEPC also explained to Mr. Ravi Kumar Jain, Cd’A and the Slovenia Companies about the sourcing model being adopted by big brands like Zara and Mango for sourcing RMG from India.
After the conclusion of the meeting, Chairman-AEPC invited all the buyers to attend India International Garment Fair scheduled to be held in January, 2019 at Greater Noida, India.
3. Mr. Ravi Kumar Jain, Cd’A also arranged the following joint meeting at the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce at Ljubljana.
The following were present in the meeting along with Chairman-AEPC and Sh. Anil Peshawari, EC Member-AEPC.

5. Meeting with officials of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Republic of Slovenia, Ljubljana.
The delegation met with Mr. Emil Ferjancic, Minister Plenipotentiary and Mr. Dejan Vladic, Minister Counsellor of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Directorate for Economic and Public Diplomacy at Ljubljana. Sh. Ravi Kumar Jain also attended the meeting with these officials.
