THE EDITORIALThe first newsletter of the session 2015-16 adorned itself with the kaleidoscopic images of the variety of events from the beginning of the session till the celebration of The Teachers’ Day.

The school provides a platform for the students to enrich themselves with the warmth of the experiences in different fields. The versatile growth, although goes at the pace of a toddler, is evident in all the echoes of their noise, in all their frolicking in the corridors and stairs, in all their childish pranks as also in their controlled decorum of class-rooms. These days are like the first golden beams of sunshine of the early morning, the soft new green leaves of the early spring, the gurgling sound of the fresh flowing water of the rivulets up in the hills or the twittering sounds of the birds at dawn. Their sprightly joys, their winged minds and their boundless hopes get a new lease of life in the school. The newsletter records each and every bit, each and every sprinkle of these precious proud moments.

Dear Children,

We at KPS, aim to develop an attitude among the children which can pole vault their careers to greater dimensions. KPS tries to optimize the potential of the children so that they not only learn how to negotiate examinations by memorizing and quoting verbatim from textbooks but also become the agents of social change which is the need of the hour. Education here gives a sense of excitement for learning and empowers them to achieve higher quality through their hard work, creativity and innovation. We strive to make every child good and smart. I salute all those achievers who have crossed milestones and achieved success in academics and cultural activities in Zonals.

“Don't aim for success if you mean it, just do what you love and believe in, and it will come naturally.”

All the Best.

God Bless.

Dr. Anju Mehrotra

MR. C.P. MEHROTRA (Chairman)

India is the second highly populated country in the world, but it is a blessing

that most of the population is from the younger generation. Our endeavour

to mould these young minds to be talented, efficient and responsible will

surely be benefitted by our country. So, in near future, India is expected to

march ahead with these young minds pioneering.

MRS. ASHA MEHROTRA (Manager Ma’am)

Every person in this world has his or her share of doing hard work in life. If a

child takes up the ‘hard work’ in his childhood, the latter part of his life will

be smooth and comfortable. This is desired by every human being and every

child is compelled to do hard work in school to enjoy the fruits in future.

The sapling-like child is nurtured in the garden of school. The school provides

them the manure for their versatile growth .Project-based learning is an apt

step taken by CBSE. This will initiate the students to go beyond the

perimeter of their syllabus, dive deep into the ocean of learning, grab the

pearl of knowledge and move.

DR. ANJU MEHROTRA (Principal)

Life offers a multitude of challenges for which every individual must learn to

be better equipped so that he can strive to transform these challenges into

glorious achievements. For materialising such an endeavour, the preparation

must begin from the exuberant age of childhood when the first seed of

learning is sown in a child’s mind and is allowed to germinate most

beautifully. Herein the role of the school gains prime importance. My dear

students, we, at KPS, take this solemn responsibility of invoking in our

students, not only the spirit of attaining academic excellence, but also the

inclination for imbibing a strong moral character.

DR. ONIKA MEHROTRA (Vice-Principal)

Students, you have just begun the journey of life, which is indeed splendid.

Enhance the splendour of this gracious life by imbibing a sense of optimism in

your personality. A positive attitude enlivens the atmosphere and generates

hope even in adversities. If we are lively and vivacious, we spread

exuberance around and make any gathering scintillating by our presence. A

tremendous amount of goodwill is gained through this seemingly simple

gesture of showing optimism. This further strengthens our relations within

the society and helps us master our social skills.

MRS. NEENA SETH (Headmistress)

Self-discipline makes one lead a life of austerity. Self-control and sacrifice

dominate such a life. In the midst of present-day diversity and technological

boom, it is important to teach the students to strike a balance between one’s

long-cherished dream and the appealing ambience. Learning to be in self-

discipline is the need of the hour.
