December 31st - Triune Mercy Center Meal Every FIFTH SUNDAY, Advent has the privilege to serve a hot meal at Triune Mercy Center. In the month leading up to every FIFTH SUNDAY, we collect FIVE items that Triune Mercy Center has listed on their wish list. December FIFTH SUNDAY collection items are: men’s new underwear sizes medium & large, deodorant - large, toothpaste - large, women’s new bikini underwear - all sizes, and peanut butter crackers Advent will provide the evening meal at Triune on December 31st. December 31st - Triune Mercy Center Meal Every FIFTH SUNDAY, Advent has the privilege to serve a hot meal at Triune Mercy Center. In the month leading up to every FIFTH SUNDAY, we collect FIVE items that Triune Mercy Center has listed on their wish list.

Children’s CornerDecember 24th and 31st - No Sunday Morning LifeGroups

SHINE Children’s Music will resume January 10th. All children 3K -5th grade are invited to join us as we use song, story and bells to celebrate God!

Sunday Morning Life Group Leaders - Base Camp children’s ministry invites you to come and join us as a life group leader. We have an opening in the 4th grade for a teacher and a few open spots for shepherds. It’s a twice a month commit-ment, and you will gain more than you ever thought possible. Our life groups run from August through May, and finish the week before Memorial Day. If you think you might be interested (for this year or next year) please email Anne at [email protected] or call her at the church office.

Parents of Second Graders- Second Graders at Advent receive their Bibles in February. We also offer a class to help your child learn more about the Bible, how to use it, and where to find some of the most familiar stories. Look for the sign up soon for both the Bible presentation and the Bible Class!

Save the date: January 21st at 6:00 pm- Rick Floyd, an internet safety expert, will be coming to Advent to help us learn more about being cyber safe. Childcare available upon request! More details to fol-low, but save the date now!
