กระบี่

Krabi is located by the turquoise sea on a romantic coast of sandy beaches, crystal clear water, colorful corals, deep grottos, limestone karsts, and archipelagoes. All of this is the charm that has created an impression on tourists to come and visit.

Exotic Krabi province is located on the Andaman Sea coast 814 kilometers from Bangkok. Covering an area of 4,708 square kilometers, it comprises mountains, more than 154 small and large islands, highlands, lowlands, and mangrove forests. Krabi city has a river that is approximately 5 kilometers in length flowing through the center into the Andaman Sea at Tambon Pak Nam. In addition, there is also Khlong Pakasai, Khlong Krabi Yai, and Khlong Krabi Noi that originate in the highest peak of the province, Phanom Bencha. From the discovery of archeological evidence, it has been assumed that the area of Krabi city was one of the oldest prehistoric settlements in Thailand that continued to be inhabited into the historical period. Furthermore, it is thought that the name of Krabi may have been derived from the Thai word ‘dap’ that means sword in English, as there is a legend relating to the excavation of an ancient sword before establishing the city.

By car

From BangkokRoute 1: Take Highway No. 4 passing Phetchaburi-Prachuap Khiri Khan-Chumphon-Ranong-Phang-nga-Krabi, a total distance of 946 kilometers.Route 2: Take Highway No. 4 to Chumphon. From there, take Highway No. 41 passing Amphoe Lang Suan and Amphoe Chaiya, Surat Thani province. Then arriving at Amphoe Wiangsa, take Highway No. 4035 to Amphoe Leuk. Continue on by following Highway No. 4 again to Krabi province, a total distance of 814 kilometers.From PhuketTake Highways No. 402 and No. 4, a distance of 176 kilometres.

กระบี่ เมืองชายทะเลในฝันงดงามด้วยหาดทรายขาวน้ำทะเลใส ปะการังสวย ถ้ำโตรกชะโงกผา และหมู่เกาะน้อยใหญ่รวมกันเป็นมนต์เสน่ห์ที่สร้างความประทับใจให้แก่นักท่องเที่ยวที่มาเยือน

จังหวัดกระบี่ ตั้งอยู่ในภาคใต้ของประเทศไทยริมฝั่งทะเลอันดามันห่างจากกรุงเทพฯ ๘๑๔ กิโลเมตร มีเนื้อที่ ๔,๗๐๘ตารางกิโลเมตรประกอบด้วยภูเขาหมู่เกาะน้อยใหญ่กว่า๑๕๔เกาะที่ดอน ที่ราบอุดมไปด้วยป่าชายเลน ตัวเมืองกระบี่มีแม่น้ำยาวประมาณ ๕ กิโลเมตร ไหลผ่านลงสู่ทะเลอันดามันที่ตำบลปากน้ำนอกจากนี้ยังมี คลองปกาสัย คลองกระบี่ใหญ่ และคลองกระบี่น้อยมีต้นกำเนิดจากเทือกเขาที่สูงที่สุดในจังหวัดกระบี่ คือ เทือกเขาพนมเบญจา จากหลักฐานทางโบราณคดี สันนิษฐานได้ว่าบริเวณเมืองกระบี่เคยเป็นแหล่งชุมชนโบราณที่เก่าแก่มากแห่งหนึ่งในประเทศไทย ตั้งแต่สมัยก่อนประวัติศาสตร์และต่อเนื่องมาจนถึงสมัยประวัติศาสตร์ นอกจากนี้ยังมีข้อสันนิษฐานเกี่ยวกับชื่อเมืองกระบี่ว่า อาจมาจากความหมายที่แปลว่าดาบ เนื่องจากมีตำนานเล่าสืบต่อกันมาเกี่ยวกับการขุดพบมีดดาบโบราณก่อนที่จะสร้างเมืองการเดินทาง

Follow the road to the Palace along the beach edge in a northerly direction. Hat Khlong Muang is facing out into the sea where it is possible to see Ko Yao Yai that is located in Ao Phang-nga district with small islets arranged in an orderly manner. In the middle of the day, it is possible to see the long sandy beach stretching as far as one can see to the horizon of the sky and sea. In the evening of the hot season, the sunlight will hide the horizon in which one can see from an angle a tree on Ko Mot Daeng that has its own breathtaking charm that cannot be seen elsewhere.

ยอดเขาสูงตระหง่านริมทะเล ปกคลุมด้วยผืนป่าดงดิบ จึงเป็นแหล่งอาศัยของนก และสัตว์ป่านานาชนิดสูงจากระดับน้ำทะเล๕๐๐เมตรเป็นจุดชมทัศนียภาพอันยิ่งใหญ่มหัศจรรย์กว้างไกลจากอ่าวนาง เกาะห้อง เกาะยาว (จังหวัดพังงา)จนจรดถึงอ่าวท่าเลน และสุดยอดความงามของเวิ้งทะเล ทิวเขาเรียงรายสูงต่ำอยู่ท่ามกลางสายหมอกยามพระอาทิตย์ขึ้น มีเส้นทางเดินศึกษาธรรมชาติ ระยะทาง ๓.๗ กิโลเมตร ใช้เวลาเดินทางประมาณ ๒ ชั่วโมงครึ่ง ควรติดต่อเจ้าหน้าที่อุทยานฯ เพื่อนำทาง โดยปกติมีค่าธรรมเนียมเข้าพื้นที่อุทยานฯ แต่ขณะนี้อยู่ในช่วงผ่อนผันยังไม่มีการเก็บค่าธรรมเนียมช่วงเวลาท่องเที่ยว : ปลายเดือนพฤศจิกายนถึงเดือนพฤษภาคมเป็นช่วงเวลาที่ดีที่สุดเวลาที่ดีที่สุด : ช่วงเวลาเช้าราว๖.๓๐น.ถึง๗.๓๐น.ช่วงเวลาเย็นราว๑๘.๐๐น.ถึง๑๙.๐๐น.

Khao Ngon Nak

Viewpoint

This prominently high mountain, 500 meters above sea level, is by the edge of the sea and is covered with dense verdant forest that is the habitat for various species of birds and wildlife. The mountaintop isa viewpoint to see the spectacular panorama from Ao Nang, Ko Hong, Ko Ya (Phang-nga province) stretching to Ao Thalen and the amazing beauty of the sea. The mountain range has both high and low regions that are filled with mist till the sun rises. There is a 3.7 kilometer nature trail that takes about 2.5 hours to walk, and it is advised to contact the Park staff to act as a guide. Usually there is a fee for entering the national park, but at this point in time, it is free.

วัดถ้ำเสือ

วัดถ้ำเสือ เหตุที่ได้ชื่อว่า “ถ้ำเสือ” เพราะว่าบริเวณถ้ำด้านหน้าของทิวเขาอ่าวลูกธนูหรือที่เรียกว่า “เขาแก้ว” เคยมีเสือโคร่งขนาดใหญ่อาศัยอยู่ และภายในถ้ำยังปรากฏหินธรรมชาติเป็นรูปอุ้งเท้าเสือ สภาพโดยทั่วไปมีลักษณะเป็นสวนป่า แวดล้อมดว้ยตน้ไมใ้หญอ่ายนุบัรอ้ยปใีนหบุเขาครีวีงศ์ และเนือ่งจากมเีขาลอ้มอยูท่กุดา้น จงึมถีำ้เลก็ถ้ำน้อยอยู่มากมายเช่นถ้ำคนธรรพ์ถ้ำลอดถ้ำช้างแก้วถ้ำลูกธนูถ้ำพระเป็นต้น บริเวณนี้นอกจากเป็นที่ตั้งของวัดแล้ว ยังเป็นแหล่งโบราณคดีที่สำคัญถึงสองสมัยคือ สมัยก่อนประวัติศาสตร์ และสมัยแรกเริ่มประวัติศาสตร์ มีการขุดพบเครื่องมือหิน เศษภาชนะดินเผา พระพิมพ์ดิบ เป็นต้น นอกจากนั้นยังมีเส้นทางเดินป่าและเส้นทางขึ้นจุดชมวิวบนยอดเขาไปตามบันไดสูง๑,๒๓๗ขั้นด้วยช่วงเวลาท่องเที่ยว : สามารถท่องเที่ยวได้ทั้งปี แต่ช่วงเดือนพฤศจิกายน ถึง เดือนพฤษภาคมเป็นช่วงเวลาที่ดีที่สุดเวลาที่ดีที่สุด : ช่วงเวลาเย็นพระอาทิตย์ตกราว ๑๘.๓๐ น. และช่วงเวลาเช้าพระอาทิตย์ขึ้นราว๖.๐๐น.ถึง๗.๐๐น.สอบถามข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมโทร.๐๗๕๖๓๑๔๕๐-๑,๐๘๔๐๖๘๔๖๖๔

The reason why it is known as “Tham Seua” is because the area in front of the cave of Ao Thanu Mountain, or as it is also known “Khao Kaeo”, use to be the habitat of large tigers and in the interior of the cave, there are what appear to be tiger paw prints in the stone. The surrounding area in the Khiriwong Valley comprises unspoilt forest with large trees that are more than 100 years old, as well as mountains encircling the area with numerous small caves; such as, Tham Khon Than, Tham Lot, Tham Chang Kaeo, Tham Luk Thanu, and Tham Phra. Besides being the location of a temple, it is also an important historical attraction of two periods – prehistoric and historic. Archeological excavations have found stone implements, fragments of baked clay utensils, and votive tablets. In addition, there is a nature trail with a staircase with 1,237 steps to the viewpoint on top of the mountain.

Hat Thap Khaek

This is a soft white sandy beach that is adjacent to the open sea. It is peaceful and private and has one of the best environments in Krabi province, so it is appropriate for nature lovers. The sun setting in the evening at Hat Thap Khaek is an impressive sight to see.

Two-water ecology of the Tha Pom Swamp Forest

Tha Pom Khlong Song Nam originates from the Chong Phra Kaeo Reservoir that has clean fresh water and is clear enough to see the bottom of the reservoir as well as the roots of the Lumphi plants (Eleiodoxa conferta (Griff.) Burr.) that leisurely flow to intertwine with the mangrove forest at the sea. It is believed that the interior of Khlong Song Nam has a nature study trail with rest stops for nature lovers to admire the surroundings of both sides of the trail, especially in those spots where permission has been given to go swimming.

The Krabi Aqua Center is the first aquarium of 13 different species in Thailand. It also breeds and sells species of marine life, develops rare and endangered marine life; such as, Grouper, Snake-head Fish, Coral Pinnate Bat f i sh , Seahor se , etc . Ko Mai Phai, the egg in the middle of the Andaman Sea

Ko Mai Phai is an island in the middle of the Andaman Sea that is surrounded by white sandy beaches. Looking down from the sky, one can see a distinctive looking island similar to a fried egg floating on light blue water. The area of the Hin Klang is the most beautiful circular outcrop, and is located north of Ko Phi Phi Don. This group of islands comprises Ko Phai, Ko Yung and Hin Klang that has the most abundant amount of corals in this province. On the islands, there is a camping area that the national park has set aside.

Ko Hong, beach paradise of the world

Mu Ko Hong consists of large and small islands; for example, Ko Lao or Ko Saka, Ko Lao Riam, Ko Pakka, Ko Lao Lading, etc. Ko Hong or Ko Lao Pile has white sandy beaches and crystal clear water, and is one of the top 10 destinations in the world located in the south of the archipelago. The wetlands of the world are an abundant feeding location as well habitat for various species of wildlife including quadrupeds, reptiles, birds, marine creatures, and humans. As such, there has been an ongoing relationship between living things and this area for a long time. Thailand only also has a few areas that have been recognised as wetlands of the world, and the mangrove forests of Krabi province covering an area of 100,000 rai stretching from the city to Ko Siboya is ranked as 1,100th Ramsar Site of the world.

Khanap Nam Mountain (Khao Khanap Nam)

Khao Khanap Nam is the identifiable symbol of Krabi city and is located on both sides of the 5-kilometer-long Krabi River, the shortest river in Thailand. There is mangrove forest surrounding the area. Every morning and evening, people come to take photographs as a memory or canoe to see Khao Khanap Nam in which there are caves that were occupied by prehistoric man and now have reproductions together with cave paintings.

Ko Klang

Not far from Khao Khanap Nam is the Ko Klang community, who lives amidst this prosperous city and still live like they did in the past. This has been preserved for visitors to experience the charm

On the island, there is a museum and local handicrafts center that displays ancient utensils, souvenirs made by the local people like figureheads, see cotton weaving and rearing of fish. Tourists can rent a boat from the Municipal Pier in the area of Khao Khanap Nam for approximately 20 minutes. The rental fee is 300 Baht.

Mu Ko Poda

Looking down from the sky to the Poda archipelago, one can see white sandy beaches and turquoise sea as well as numerous species of fish. Nearby are Ko Dam Hok Dam Khwan or Ko Kai, Ko Thap, and Ko Mo. When the tide recedes, to the north of Ko Dam Hok Dam Khwan appears to be a separated sea with a sandy ridge appearing in the middle of the sea linking Ko Thap and Ko Mo. This is considered as unseen beauty.

Tourist Season : Late November to May.The best time : The 12th of the waning moon to the 5th day of the waxing moon before the tide recedes. The low tide and sunset is around 18.30 Hrs., which is the best time to see the flock of bats flying out of the cave in search of food.

Ko Poda

Ko Poda is an island located about 8 kilometers to the south of Ao Nang. It has tranquil sandy beaches, and crystal clear sea like a mirror in which it is possible to see numerous schools of fish swimming around. In the area of the island, visitors can see a variety of intact corals throughout the year. During low tide, it appears to look like a broad soft white sand dune that is suitable for sunbathing.Tourist Season : Late November to April.The best time : 08.00 - 15.00 Hrs. Ko Dam Hok Dam Khwan or Ko Kai in the Ao Nang island archipelago is the source of Thale Waek or separated sea that is an unseen attraction and become known around the world. To the south of the island, there is a rock in the shape of a chicken’s head with the beak protruding outward. Mu Ko Phi Phi

Mu Ko Phi Phi is a sparkling diamond in the Andaman Sea. The topography comprises Ko Phi Phi Don and Ko Phi Phi Le that are rocky limestone islands with large and small beaches dotted around them with spectacular nature. These have been recognised as one of the top 10 most magnificent island destinations of the world. The major feature is the view from the top of Ko Phi Phi Le to Ao Maya and Pi Le that is like a beautiful emerald sea among an island paradise.

Ko Phi Phi Don

It covers an area of approximately 28 square kilometers. The outstanding feature of the island is Ao Ton Sai and Ao Lo Da Lam that are the most stunning beaches in the world. It is possible to see the beauty of these beaches from the viewpoint above Ao Ton Sai. Furthermore on the island, there is the Ko Phi Phi Pier, accommodation, and numerous stores in various locales, e.g. Hat Laem Hin, Hat Yao, Ao Lo Da Lam, etc. The north of the island is Laem Tong that is the location of a fishing village of 15-20 families, most of whom migrated from Ko Li Pe in Tarutao National Park, Satun province. The surrounding area of Laem Tong has striking underwater nature, and tourists can rent a boat or go diving to see the coral around the islands of Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Le. The cost of renting a long-tail boat is about 1,500 Baht for 4-5 persons.

ลากูนมรกต เกาะพีพีเล

เกาะพีพีเล มีพื้นที่เพียง ๖.๖ ตารางกิ โลเมตร เป็นเกาะที่ เต็มไปด้วยภู เขาหินปูนมีหน้าผาสูงชันตั้งฉากกับผิวทะเลโดยรอบเกือบทั้งเกาะ มีพื้นน้ำลึกเฉลี่ยประมาณ ๒๐ เมตร มีบริเวณน้ำลึกที่สุดประมาณ๓๔เมตรอยู่ทางตอนใต้ของเกาะ เกาะแห่งนี้มีเวิ้งอ่าวสวยงาม อาทิอ่าวปิเละ อ่าวมาหยา อ่าวโละซามะ นอกจากนี้ทางทิศตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือยังมีถ้ำไวกิ้ง เมื่อปีพ.ศ. ๒๕๑๕ พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวภูมิพลอดุลยเดช เสด็จประพาสถ้ำแห่งนี้ และทรงพระราชทานนามใหม่ว่า “ถ้ำพญานาค” ตามรูปร่างหินก้อนหนึ่งที่คล้ายเศียรพญานาค อันเป็นที่เคารพสักการะของชาวบ้านที่มาเก็บรังนกนางแอ่นบนเกาะแห่งนี้ ภายในถ้ำทางทิศตะวันออกและทิศใต้พบภาพเขียนสีสมัยประวัติศาสตร์เป็นรูปช้าง และรูปเรือชนิดต่างๆเช่นเรือใบยุโรปเรือใบอาหรับเรือสำเภาเรือกำปั่นเรือใบใช้กังหันและเรือกลไฟ เป็นต้น สันนิษฐานว่าภาพเขียนเหล่านี้เป็นฝีมือของนักเดินเรือหรือพวกโจรสลัด เพราะจากการศึกษาเส้นทางเดินเรือจากฝั่งตะวันตกไปยังฝั่ งตะวันออก บริเวณนี้อาจเป็นจุดที่ เรือสามารถแวะพักหลบลมมรสุมขนถ่ายสินค้าหรือซ่อมแซมเรือได้ช่วงเวลาท่องเที่ยว : ปลายเดือนพฤศจิกายน ถึงเดือนเมษายนเป็นช่วงเวลาที่ดีที่สุดเวลาที่ดีที่สุด : ๑๐.๐๐น.ถึง๑๔.๐๐น.

Emerald Lagoon, Ko Phi Phi Le

Ko Phi Phi Le, covering an area of only 6.6 square kilometers, is an island full of limestone mountains and high cliff faces rising upward from the sea. The water has an average depth of approximately 20 meters with the deepest spot being 34 meters in the south of the island. This island has several outstanding beaches; for example, Ao Pi Le, Ao Maya, Ao Lo Sa Ma. Besides this, to the northeast there is Tham Viking. In 1972, His Majesty King Bhumibol

Adulyadej visited this cave and bestowed the name “Tham Phraya Nak” because of a rock that is similar to the head of this mythical creature and is highly respected by the local people who come to collect swallow’s nests. In the interior of the cave to the east and south are ancient rock paintings of elephants and various types of boats; such as, a European sailboat, Arabian sailboat, sampan, a Chinese junk, a water-wheel sailboat, and a steamboat. It is assumed that these paintings were the work of sailors or pirates because from a study of the west to east trading routes, this area may have been a port where shipping could moor to avoid the monsoon, transfer goods, or make repairs.

สุสานหอย ฟอสซิลขนาดใหญ่ อายุ ๔๐ ล้านปี

บริเวณที่เป็นสุสานหอยแห่งนี้ เดิมเป็นหนองน้ำจืดขนาดใหญ่ มีหอยขมอาศัยอยู่เป็นจำนวนมาก ขนาดราว ๒ เซนติเมตรต่อมาเกิดการเปลี่ยนแปลงบริเวณพื้นผิวโลก น้ำทะเลไหลเข้าท่วมบริเวณหนองน้ำ ทำให้ธาตุหินปูนในน้ำทะเลจับตัวเปลือกหอยใต้น้ำจนเป็นเนื้อเดียวกัน กลายเป็นแผ่นหินแข็งที่เรียกว่า ShellyLimestone หนาประมาณ ๔๐ เซนติเมตร เมื่อแผ่นดินบริเวณนี้ถูกยกตัวขึ้นสูง ซากฟอสซิลเหล่านี้จึงปรากฏให้เห็นเป็นลานหินกว้างใหญ่ยื่นลงไปในทะเล จากการคำนวณหาอายุทางธรณีวิทยาพบว่าฟอสซิลนี้มีอายุราว๔๐ล้านปี การเดินทาง อยู่บริเวณชายทะเลบ้านแหลมโพธิ์ ห่างจากตัวเมืองประมาณ ๑๗ กิโลเมตร ใช้เส้นทางไปหาดนพรัตน์ธาราเมื่อถึงบ้านไสไทย ใช้เส้นทางหมายเลข ๔๒๐๔ จะมีป้ายบอกทางไปสุสานหอย ช่วงเวลาท่องเที่ยว : ปลายเดือนพฤศจิกายน ถึง เดือนเมษายนเป็นช่วงเวลาที่ดีที่สุดเวลาที่ดีที่สุด : ชมพระอาทิตย์ขึ้นที่แหลมโพธิ์ราว ๖.๐๐ น. ชมสุสานหอยน้ำจืดช่วงเวลาบ่ายถึงเย็น

Susan Hoi (40 million years old fossils)

The area of this shellfish cemetery was originally a large freshwater swamp that was the habitat of large numbers of shellfish 2 centimeters in size. Later, due to changes in the world’s surface, the sea flooded the area and the limestone elements in the seawater enveloped the shellfish into a homogenous layer of fossils that is 40 centimeters thick and known as Shelly Limestone. With the geological upheavals, these fossils appeared as a large stone layer that extended down into the sea. From geological estimations, it was found that these fossils are around 40 million years old.

The Stalactite Curtain of Tham Phra Nang

Hat Tham Phra Nang, one of the most beautiful peaceful beaches, is located at the far western end of Hat Rai Le in which one must walk from the boat. When disembarking, it is possible to go into the cave. The attractive Stalactite Curtain is pleasing to the eye or accept the challenge of cliff climbing, and relax by watching the sunset in the evening. From the cave, see the sunset from various angles.

Ao Nang

Ao Nang has a total of 83 large and small islands. Some of them have an appearance similar to a boot, sampan, and bird’s head, but all have beautiful sandy beaches that everyone admires and comes to enjoy seeing the shallow water corals. These can be seen at Ko Mo and Ko Thap that are one of the most important tourist attractions of Krabi province. There are also all the necessary amenities to facilitate tourists, and this is also one of the best places to see the sunset.

หาดนพรัตน์ธารา ริ้วคลื่นบนลอนทราย

ชายหาดยาวเกือบ ๓ กิโลเมตร ค่อนข้างเงียบสงบ เดิมชาวบ้านเรียกว่า “หาดคลองแห้ง” ทั้งนี้เพราะเมื่อน้ำลง น้ำคลองที่ไหลมาจากภูเขาทางด้านเหนือจะแห้งขอดกลายเป็นหาดทรายยาวเหยียดทอดลงไปในทะเล บรรจบกับเกาะเขาปากคลองบริเวณหาดเป็นทรายละเอียดปะปนด้วยเปลือกหอยเล็กๆ ประดับด้วยทิวสนเรียงรายตามชายทะเลยาวเหยียดสามารถเดินไปยังเกาะเล็กๆบริเวณหน้าชายหาดได้ บริเวณชายหาดมีที่ทำการอุทยานแห่งชาติหาดนพรัตน์ธารา - หมู่ เกาะพีพีตั้งอยู่ จากที่ทำการอุทยานฯเดินเท้าไปตามชายหาดด้านทิศตะวันตก มีที่พักหลายแห่งให้บริการช่วงเวลาท่องเที่ยว : ปลายเดือนพฤศจิกายน ถึง เดือนเมษายนเป็นช่วงเวลาที่ดีที่สุดเวลาที่ดีที่สุด : ช่วงเย็นพระอาทิตย์ตกราว๑๘.๐๐น.ถึง๑๙.๐๐น.

Hat Rai Le has outstandingly fantastic topographical features of a swamp interposed by valleys and lofty cliffs where it is possible to see marvelous views of Hat Rai Le to the west and east. Tourists from all over the world enjoy the challenge of climbing the cliffs at this place. Both sides of the beach have accommodation as well as a number of companies offer cliff climbing services. More importantly, do not miss the sunset that is a most impressive scene that will not be easily forgotten.

Hat Noppharat Thara

This superb beach is close to 3 kilometers long and somewhat peacefully quiet that the local people call it “Hat Khlong Haeng” because when the tide recedes, the water flowing down from the mountain to the north into the canal will dry up similar to an extensive long sandy beach down to the sea linking with Ko Khao Pak Khlong. The area of the beach is a combination of fine sand and small shells decorated in an orderly manner, and it is also possible to walk to the small islands near the beach. The Hat Noppharat Thara-Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park Office is also on the beach, and from here follow the beach westwards where there are numerous forms of accommodation.

orchid that is the symbol of the province

The Paphiopedilum exul (Ridl.) Rolfe (1896) or Leuang Krabi orchid is one of the most beautiful flowers of the orchid family and grows in tropical rain forest or from niches of the cliff faces by the Andaman Sea, especially in Phuket, Phang-nga and Krabi provinces that are difficult to find naturally. The Krabi Plant and Production Factor Service Center, Amphoe Mueang has raised this species of orchid, so visitors can come and see the beauty of this flower that is also the symbol of the province.

Wat Khlong Thom Museum

This museum keeps various kinds of archeological ar tifacts that have been excavated in the area known as “Khuan Luk Pat”, a mound behind Wat Khlong Thom; for example, stone tools, stone and earthen ornaments, and figurines of various animals. One item of cultural heritage in particular is the beads that are 5,000 years old. This archeological evidence reflects that there use to be a highly civilized community here in the past.

สระมรกต

สระน้ำเขียวใสสีมรกตมีเส้นผ่าศูนย์กลาง ๒๐-๒๕ เมตรความลึก ๑-๒ เมตร รอบๆ บริเวณเป็นป่าร่มรื่นเขียวครึ้มมีพรรณไม้ที่น่าสนใจรวมทั้งนกที่หาดูได้ยากเช่น นกแต้วแร้วท้องดำ นกกระเต็นสร้อยคำสีน้ำตาลและนกเงือกดำเป็นต้นโดยสระมรกตแห่งนี้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของเขตรักษาพันธ์ุสัตว์ป่าเขาประ-บางครามช่วงเวลาท่องเที่ยว : เที่ยวได้ตลอดทั้งปีเวลาที่ดีที่สุด :ช่วงเวลาเช้าราว๖.๐๐น.ถึง๙.๐๐น.ช่วงเวลาเย็นราว๑๕.๐๐น.ถึง๑๗.๐๐น.

Tina Jolliffe Nature Trail (Thung Dieo)

This is a 2.7-kilometer nature study trail in which there are signboards explaining the various items all along the way. Nature lovers can study and obtain knowledge by themselves. The trail begins 800 meters before reaching the Emerald Pool of the Khao Pra-Bang Khram Wildlife Sanctuary passing a small area of the remaining lowland rainforest in southern Thailand. The trail displays the true features of this kind of forest. See Gurney’s Pitta, a gorgeous colorful bird that searches for food on the forest floor as well as more than 300 other species of birds which is more than you would find in any other wildlife sanctuary of the South. Also, more than 100 species have been spotted along this nature study trail; for example, Green Pigeon, Barbets, Fairy Bluebird, Bulbul, Sunbird, Little Spiderhunter, and various species of squirrels.

Sra Morakot (Emerald Pool)

This pool is an emerald green colour with a diameter of 20-25 meters and depth of 1-2 meters. The surrounding environment comprises verdant green forest with various species of trees that are interesting to see as well as rare species of birds; e.g. Gurney’s Pitta, Brown Kingfisher, and Black Hornbill. This pool is part of the Khao Pra-Bang Khram Wildlife Sanctuary.

Amazing Hot Spring Waterfall

Namtok Ron Khlong Thom is one of the hot springs that are scattered around this area. The water is about 40-50 degrees Celsius and comes up from under the ground in the verdant green forest and flows down the slope. In some parts, there are fumes with a strong aroma and natural limestone markings. This creates a wonderful scene, especially where the hot stream flows down into Khlong Thom that looks like a small waterfall.

Than Bokkorani

Than Bokkorani National Park covers an area of 104 square kilometers comprising limestone mountains, unspoilt forest, mangrove forest, and various islands. The National Park has numerous species of plants including tropical rainforest, swamp forest, beach forest, mangrove forest, as well as marine life under the sea. As such, interested persons can come to study and gain knowledge as there is a one-kilometer nature study trail in the Park. Namtok Than Bokkorani is located in the area of the Park Headquarters and was originally called Than Asoke because Asoke trees grew here. The area is mainly a natural stream that flows into large and small basins of various levels and is surrounded by verdant forest. To the north of the waterfall is a Buddha’s Footprint carved from wood. It is located near the Chaopho To Yuan-To Chong Shrine.

Tham Phi Hua To

The prehistoric cave paintings on the walls inside the cave are considered as the largest group with about 100 paintings that are estimated to be 2,000-3,000 years old. The most famous one is of a person with a high hat or a person with a head of an animal that has been done completely in a red color like an alien and the second image is on the ceiling that are enigmatic traces of prehistoric humans.

ถ้ำลอด เป็นอุโมงค์ใต้เขาหินปูน บนเพดานถ้ำมีหินงอกและหินย้อยรูปร่างต่างๆ กัน ส่วน ถ้ำผีหัวโตหรือถ้ำหัวกะโหลกอยู่ห่างจากถ้ำลอดประมาณ๕๐๐ เมตรแต่เดิมภายในถ้ำเคยมีหัวกะโหลกมนุษย์ มีขนาดโตกว่าปกติจึงมีชื่อว่า “ถ้ำผีหัวโต” และบนผนังถ้ำยังปรากฏภาพเขียนสีก่อนสมัยประวัติศาสตร์จำนวนมาก อาทิ รูปคน รูปสัตว์ บนพื้นถ้ำมีเปลือกหอยทับถมกันอยู่เป็นจำนวนมาก นอกจากนั้นบริเวณนี้ยังสามารถพายเรือชมทิวทัศน์ป่าชายเลนที่สงบร่มรื่นได้ช่วงเวลาท่องเที่ยว : ปลายเดือนพฤศจิกายน ถึง เดือนมกราคมเป็นช่วงเวลาที่ดีที่สุดเวลาที่ดีที่สุด :ช่วงเช้าและบ่ายที่อากาศไม่ร้อนจัด

Kayaking through Tham Lot

Tham Lot is a tunnel under a limestone mountain. On the ceiling of the cave, there are various formations of stalagmites and stalactites. Tham Phi Hua To or Tham Hua Kalok is located about 500 meters from Tham Lot. Originally, there use to be large human skulls in the cave thus giving it the name “Tham Phi Hua To”. On the walls, there are numerous prehistoric cave paintings; for example, people and animals, and on the floor of the cave are lots of shellfish. Besides that, it is possible to row to see the peaceful shady mangrove forest.

เขากาโรส เป็นภูเขาหินปูนที่มีลักษณะเป็นทิวเขาที่ถูกกรัดกร่อนด้วยน้ำทะเลและแรงลมทำให้มีลักษณะแปลกตาเหมือนหัวกะโหลกอยู่ทางด้านตะวันออกของปลายแหลมสัก สภาพพื้นที่ปกคลุมด้วยป่าชายเลนที่มีความอุดมสมบูรณ์ด้วยป่าโกงกาง ลำพู ตะบูน แสม และสัตว์ป่า อาทิ ลิงค่าง และนกนานาชนิด เขากาโรสเหมาะแก่การล่องเรือและพายเรือแคนูศึกษาเส้นทางธรรมชาติชมหน้าผาถ้ำลอดนอกจากนั้นยังเป็นสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวทางโบราณคดี โดยพบภาพเขียนสีโบราณตามบริเวณถ้ำและผาหินต่างๆสันนิษฐานว่ามีอายุอยู่ในช่วงก่อนประวัติศาสตร์ อายุราว๓,๐๐๐–๕,๐๐๐ปีช่วงเวลาท่องเที่ยว : ปลายเดือนพฤศจิกายน ถึง เดือนพฤษภาคม เป็นช่วงเวลาที่ดีที่สุดเวลาที่ดีที่สุด : ช่วงเวลาเช้าราว ๖.๐๐ น. ถึง ๙.๐๐ น. ช่วงเวลาเย็นราว๑๕.๐๐น.ถึง๑๗.๐๐น.

ถ้ำเพชร หินงอกหินย้อยสีขาวระยับ

ถ้ำเพชร เป็นถ้ำที่มีเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะตัวอีกถ้ำหนึ่งของอำเภออ่าวลึก ส่วนใหญ่จะเป็นหินงอกหินย้อยสีขาวนวลตามีความแวววาวระยิบระยับเมื่อมีแสงไฟมากระทบ ไม่ไกลกันนักมีเขาหินปูนอยู่กลุ่มหนึ่ง พบแหล่งถ้ำที่มีร่องรอยของเศษกระดูกเครื่องใช้ดินเผา ภาพเขียนสีบนผนังถ้ำ เรียกว่า เขาหน้ามันแดงที่นี่มีถ้ำลอดทะลุไปอีกด้านหนึ่ งของเขาหินปูนอยู่ ๒-๓ ถ้ำมีหินงอกหินย้อยสวยงามมากเช่นกันช่วงเวลาท่องเที่ยว : สามารถท่องเที่ยวได้ตลอดทั้งปีเวลาที่ดีที่สุด :ช่วงเวลาเช้าราว๙.๐๐น.ถึง๑๖.๐๐น.

Kalok Phi Cliff, Khao Karos

Khao Karos is a limestone mountain that looks eroded by the sea and strong winds, so it has strange looking features. It is at the east end of Laem Sak, and is covered with unspoilt mangrove forest of various species of trees as well as wildlife; such as, Monkeys, Langurs, and a variety of birds. To enter Khao Karot, take a boat or canoe, study the nature trail, and see the Tham Lot cliff face. In addition to those, there are other historical tourist attractions. See the prehistoric paintings in the cave and cliff faces that are estimated to be about 3,000-5,000 years old.

Tham Phet

Tham Phet is a unique cave of Amphoe Ao Leuk. Most of it consists of dazzling ivory white stalagmites and stalactites, and they especially sparkle a lot when the light strikes them. There is also another group of limestone mountains that has a cave that had evidence of fragments of human bones, clay utensils, and cave paintings on the walls. Thus, it is known as Khao Na Man Daeng that can access Tham Lot from another side of 2-3 caves, and it has very beautiful stalagmites and stalactites.

พายแคนูแหลมสัก ตลอดแนวของแหลมสักมีจุดพายแคนูที่สวยงามมากมายหลายแห่งตั้งแต่จุดเสาหินบอนไซกลางทะเลซึ่งดูคล้ายเสาหินและต้นไม้บอนไซ ถ้ำชาวเล ช่องหลาดเหนือซึ่งสวยงามราวกับลากูนในสวรรค์ล้อมรอบด้วยแนวเขาและหน้าผาสูง หินเหล็กโคนคล้ายเกาะตาปูอ่าวพังงา ปลายสุดของแหลมสัก คือแหลมไฟไหม้ ซึ่งมีภาพเขียนสีโบราณบนเพิงถ้ำ และใกล้กันนั้นมีถ้ำหินย้อยซึ่งเป็นจุดพายแคนูที่สามารถชมพระอาทิตย์ตกในอ่าวพังงาได้สวยงามที่สุดจนเป็นสวรรค์แห่งใหม่ของนักพายแคนู ถ้ำชาวเล อยู่ทางด้านทิศตะวันตกของแหลมสัก ในเวิ้งอ่าวที่แวดล้อมด้วยธรรมชาติอันสวยงามของเกาะแก่งและภูผาภายในถ้ำมีหินงอกหินย้อยและภาพเขียนสมัยก่อนประวัติศาสตร์เป็นรูปคน รูปสัตว์ และรูปทรงเรขาคณิตต่างๆ หลายภาพด้วยกันสันนิษฐานว่าจะมีอายุอยู่ในช่วงหลังภาพเขียนที่ถ้ำผีหัวโต บริเวณถ้ำชาวเลสามารถพายเรือแคนูได้ เกาะแดง มีหาดทรายสวยงามยาว ๒๕ เมตร มีถ้ำลอดกว้าง ๗๐ เมตร สูง ๒๐ เมตร เป็นบริเวณที่สามารถดำน้ำดูปะการังได้อยู่ใกล้กับถ้ำชาวเล ถ้ำผ้าม่าน อ่าวชิ้งชั้งเป็นอ่าวที่เงียบสงบสวยงามอยู่ด้านทิศเหนือของช่องหลาดใต้ สุดหาดมีถ้ำอยู่บนไหล่เขาเตี้ยๆซึ่งต้องผจญภัยเล็กน้อยกับการปีนและโรยตัวลงไปในถ้ำที่เป็นโพรงขนาดเล็กแต่ภายในกลับโอ่โถงงดงามด้วยหลืบถ้ำ สามารถเดินลัดเลาะลงไป ด้านล่างทะลุอีกฟากหนึ่งของถ้ำลงสู่ทะเลได้ แม้จะไม่ใช่ถ้ำใหญ่แต่กลับมีเสน่ห์ที่ไม่เหมือนใคร นอกจากหินงอกหินย้อยที่สวยงามแล้ว บริเวณพื้นถ้ำยังมีหินรูปร่างเหมือนผลน้อยหน่า เป็นแห่งเดียวที่พบอาณาจักรน้อยหน่าถ้ำสุดประหลาดในกระบี่ช่วงเวลาท่องเที่ยว : ปลายเดือนพฤศจิกายนถึงเดือนพฤษภาคมเป็นช่วงเวลาที่ดีที่สุดเวลาที่ดีที่สุด : ช่วงเช้า และบ่ายที่อากาศไม่ร้อนจัด ควรดูช่วงเวลาน้ำขึ้นน้ำลงด้วยในแต่ละวันช่วงเวลาน้ำขึ้นจะสวยกว่าตอนน้ำลง ช่วงเย็นแถบแหลมไฟไหม้มีจุดพายแคนูชมพระอาทิตย์ตกที่สวยที่สุด

Canoeing at Laem Sak All along the route of Laem Sak, there are various attractive places for canoeing starting from Sao Hin Bonsai in the middle of the sea that looks like a bonsai plant, Tham Chao Le, Chong Lat Nuea that is very charming with the surrounding heavenly lagoon, the towering mountains and cliffs, rocky outcrops that look like Ko Tapu of Ao Phang-nga, and the final spot is Laem Fai Mai that has ancient cave paintings, and of course there is the stalactites where tourists can row their canoe to see the brilliant sunset in Ao Phang-nga. This is a new heavenly paradise for canoeists. Tham Chao Le is located to the west of Laem Sak in an unspoilt natural environment of Ko Kaeng and Pu Pha. In the interior of the cave, there are various formations of stalagmites and stalactites as well as prehistoric cave paintings of people, animals, and various geometric shapes. It is estimated that they were painted after those found in Tham Phi Hua Tho. It is possible to row a canoe around the area surrounding Tham Chao Le. Ko Daeng has a 25-meter long beach with a cave that is 70 meters wide and 20 meters high. It is also where tourists can dive to see corals as it is close to Tham Chao Le. Tham Pha Man Ao Ching Chang is a beautiful peaceful bay that lies to the north of Chong Lat Tai. At the end of the beach, there is a cave on the hillside in which one must face the challenge of climbing and descending into the cave that has a narrow opening but once inside is very magnificent. At the back, there is another passageway that goes through the cave to the sea. It may not be a large cave but it still has charm that is different from other caves. In addition to attractive stalagmites and stalactites, the floor of the cave has rocks that look like custard apples and this is the only place where one can see an unusual custard apple kingdom in a cave in Krabi.

Tourist Season : Late November to May.The best time : In the morning and afternoon. Also take note of the tides of each day. It is more beautiful when the tide rises than when it recedes. In the evening, Laem Fai Mai is the best place to go to see the sunset.

Ko Shiva Lingam

This small single island is located in the middle of the sea on the route from Laem Sak Pier to Ko Rai. The locals call it “Lao La Ti La”, which is noticeable if we use our imagination and will see that it is similar to a Siwa Ling in the middle of the sea that faces the challenges of winds and the sun all year round. However, it is not considered a place for tourists to visit, but is another interesting and unique place for canoeing.

ถ้ำหนองทุ่งนา เป็นแหล่งท่องเที่ยวประเภทถ้ำแห่งใหม่ล่าสุดของอำเภออ่าวลึก ที่มีความงามอันเป็นเอกลักษณ์ ถ้ำแห่งนี้ ในฤดูฝนไม่สามารถเข้าชมได้จะต้องพายเรือแคนูเข้าไปเท่านั้น บริเวณช่วงแรกจะมีหินย้อย ย้อยลงมาจากเพดานถ้ำสวยกว่าถ้ำแห่งใด เป็นแหล่งเดียวที่พบค้างคาวหน้ายักษ์กุมภกรรณที่ใกล้สูญพันธ์ุอาศัยอยู่ในถ้ำแห่งนี้ และที่สุดของความน่าอัศจรรย์คือ ในส่วนลึกสุดของถ้ำมีสระน้ำคริสตัลสีฟ้าใสใต้ภูเขาซึ่งงดงามไม่เหมือนถ้ำแห่งใดในประเทศไทยช่วงเวลาท่องเที่ยว : เดือนมากราคมถึงเดือนพฤษภาคมเวลาที่ดีที่สุด : สามารถเที่ยวได้ตลอดทั้งวัน แต่จำเป็นต้องมีคนนำทางและควรระมัดระวังในการเดินทาง

Tham Nong Thung Na

Tham Nong Thung Na is the newest tourist cave attraction of Amphoe Ao Leuk and is very beautiful. During the rainy season, it is not possible to walk through this cave, but tourists must row a canoe. The first area has very attractive stalactites falling down from the ceiling, and it is the only place where an endangered species of giant bats inhabit. Also what is amazing is this cave has a light blue crystal pool under the mountain and no other cave in Thailand can be compared to this place.

Hat Sai Ron (Hot Steam Beach) On the bank of Khlong Pa Kong Kang when the tide recedes, a sandy beach will appear, but this is a hot sandy beach from the heat under the ground from the Ma Rui Rift. This makes a large wide sandy beach with a cur tain of steam in the morning that is a natural spa. The people in this community have used their local intellect of Thai massage to be used in conjunction with lying down on a bamboo bed and receiving the aromatic steam, or have a foot spa by immersing the feet in hot water, or burying the feet in hot mud. All of this makes this place as the only rejuvenating natural spa of its kind in Thailand.

Tourist Season : Can travel all year round.The best time : The morning of Wan Nam Yai or the 12th evening of the waxing moon onwards to the 6th evening of the waning moon.

Tham Khlung

Tham Khlung is the most beautiful cave of the limestone mountains of Amphoe Ao Leuk, Krabi province, and has many strange formations that are not the same as other caves. This is because it is both a land and marine cave in which tourists can walk on the land and return via the water. Apart from stalactites, there are quartz crystal rocks that look like drinking straws, coral, as well as a golden stalactites. Altogether there are 13 rooms that are a total of 1,200 meters in length that tourists have ranked it as the No. 2 cave of Asia.

น้ำผุดปรบมือเป็นเพียงแอ่งน้ำขนาดเล็กในเขตบ้านถ้ำเสือ ตำบลอ่าวลึกใต้ สภาพแวดล้อมร่มรื่นไปด้วยป่าพรุ และธารน้ำที่ดูเผินๆไม่น่าจะมีอะไร แต่หากลงไปสัมผัสใกล้ๆก็จะพบว่าหลายจุดในแอ่งน้ำนั้นมีแรงดันน้ำผุดขึ้นมาจากใต้พื้นโลกอยู่ตลอดเวลา จนทำให้บริเวณใดที่มีแรงดันน้ำผุดจะปรากฏเป็นแอ่งทรายใต้น้ำเป็นวงรอบและบริเวณนั้นจะไม่มีเศษใบไม้ หากคุณปรบมือดังๆอัตราการผุดของน้ำก็ยิ่งจะทวีมากขึ้นอย่างน่าทึ่งทว่าน้ำผุดปรบมือที่น่าจะเป็นน้ำร้อนนี้กลับเป็นน้ำเย็นช่วงเวลาท่องเที่ยว : สามารถท่องเที่ยวได้ตลอดทั้งปีเวลาที่ดีที่สุด :ช่วงเวลาเช้าและเวลาเย็น

Nam Phut Prop Mue (Sputtering Water at

Nam Phut Prop Mue is the only small water basin in Ban Tham Seua District, Tambon Ao Leuk Tai. The environment is very unspoilt with swamp forest and streams. However, if experiencing close up, one will see numerous places in the basin where water continually rises from under the ground. This has made this area have a spring that appears as an underwater circular sandy basin, and there are no plants. If you clap your hands loudly, a large amount of water will rise up.

Khao Pha Khom

This fantastic cliff face of the limestone mountain range of Laem Sak that is hidden away not too far from Laem Sak Pier and is near Chong Lat Tai is 100 meters long. There are stalactites hanging down like a curtain. This has become a brilliant gap and one must lower the body to go under the cliff; thus, it has received the name Khao Pha Khom. At the back, there is a large lagoon and every evening of the 3rd to the 6th night of the waning moon, the water in the lagoon will be full and change to be an emerald color, which is very beautiful in the moonlight.

Ko Lanta Community

Ko Lanta is a small shining tourist diamond of Krabi province. The magical charm of the island is in its beaches on the west. There are many exotic sandy beaches, and at the southernmost point of the island is the Mu Ko Lanta National Park. The eastern part is where the original community resides who has preserved their culture and way of life. The old wooden houses, lifestyle, and traditions of the fishermen still have their own magical charm for visitors.

Hat Ba Kan Tiang

Ko Lanta Yai is an island that has numerous large exotic sandy beaches all around the island in the west. Also there is the longest beach of Krabi province. The scenery of the beach slopes down to the Andaman Sea that is suitable for swimming and relaxing. The most outstanding feature of this place is the beauty of the white sandy beach that is one kilometer long with the blue sea.

Tourist Season : Late November to May.The best time : 08.00 – 12.00 Hrs. and after sunset around 18.30 Hrs.

View from Laem Tonot

Looking from the old lighthouse at Laem Tonot, it is possible to see Ao Kruat and white sandy beaches. At the far end of the cape is Ko Mo that is a diving site for viewing deep sea corals. In the middle of the island, tourists can go to the viewpoint on top of the mountain where one can still see the panorama of the Andaman Sea that has an abundance of islands in the middle of the blue sea.

Ko Rok Nai, Ko Rok Nok

Ko Rok Nai is the location of the Sub-Protection Unit of the Mu Ko Lanta National Park, and has high soaring cliffs. On the east side of the island is sandy beach and coral reefs, which is also one of the most outstanding deep sea diving sites in the Andaman Sea. To the north of the island is Laem Thong and Ao San Chao, the white soft sand at Ko Rok Nai, and crystal clear turquoise water in which visitors can see various species of colorful fish; all of which is unspoilt nature that no one has ever come to experience. On the island, the charm of the nature study trail allows tourists to see various species of plants. Also for tourists who want accommodation, the island has a camping area. Ko Rok Nok To the southeast and south there are soft white sandy beaches and shallow water coral reefs. At the end of the island, there is a beach that connects with Ao Man Sai. During the rainy season when there is heavy rain, this might be an opportunity to see small waterfalls flowing down from the high cliff to the sea in the north. This is the only place to see this in Thailand.

Tourist Season : Late November to April.The best time : 08.00 - 15.00 Hrs.Remark : It is not recommended to take a long-tail boat to Ko Rok because of the distance, as it may not be safe, especially with the changing weather.

เกาะไหง นับเป็นแหล่งดูปะการังน้ำตื้นที่สมบูรณ์แห่งหนึ่งด้านหน้าของตัวเกาะหันหน้าออกสู่ทะเลด้านทิศตะวันออก จะเห็นดูพระอาทิตย์ขึ้นในตอนเช้า เมื่อแสงแดดแผดจ้า เวิ้งน้ำเบื้องหน้าจะเป็นสีเขียวมรกตงดงามช่วงเวลาท่องเที่ยว : ปลายเดือนพฤศจิกายน ถึง เดือนเมษายนเป็นช่วงเวลาที่ดีที่สุดเวลาที่ดีที่สุด :ช่วงเวลาราว๑๐.๐๐น.ถึง๑๕.๐๐น.

Ko Ngai

Ko Ngai is a destination where it is possible to see unspoiled shallow water corals. The front of the island faces the sea to the east in which one can see the sunrise, and when the sunlight is at its hottest, the water will be an emerald color.

กองหินมุสัง รู้จักกันดีในชื่อของ Anemone Reef ถัดไปประมาณหนึ่งกิโลเมตร เป็น Shark Point หินจม และซากเรือ KingCriuser คืออาณาจักรใต้ทะเลซึ่งเป็นจุดดำน้ำที่ดีที่สุดอีกแห่งหนึ่งของทะเลอันดามัน อยู่ระหว่างเกาะภูเก็ตและเกาะพีพี มีลักษณะเป็นปะการังใต้ทะเลและเนินใต้น้ำซึ่งปกคลุมไปด้วยดอกไม้ทะเลหลากสีสันรวมทั้งบ้านใหม่ของสัตว์น้ำหลากหลายชนิดจากซากเรือจมที่สำคัญบริเวณกองหินมุสังคือจุดที่พบฉลามเสือดาวได้ง่ายที่สุดในประเทศไทยช่วงเวลาท่องเที่ยว : เดือนธันวาคม ถึง เดือนเมษายน ช่วงเวลาที่ดีที่สุดคือเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ถึงเดือนมีนาคมเวลาที่ดีที่สุด :ช่วงเวลาราว๑๐.๐๐น.ถึง๑๓.๐๐น.

Kong Hin Musang

Kong Hin Musang or as it is also known as Anemone Reef is about one kilometer from Shark Point. The submerged mounds and remains or King Cruiser is an underwater realm that is also one of the best diving spots. It is located between Phuket and Ko Phi Phi and has abundant corals and underwater mounds that comprise colorful sea fans as well as the new habitat of various species of marine life in the shipwrecks. Most important of all in the area of Kong Hin Musang is the place to see Leopard Shark that is easily seen in only this place in all of Thailand

Tourist Season : December to April. The best months are February-March.The best time : 10.00 - 13.00 Hrs.

หินม่วง หินแดง ๑ ใน ๑๐ จุดดำน้ำ ที่ดีที่สุดในโลก

หินม่วง หินแดง เป็นจุดดำน้ำที่ขึ้นชื่อของจังหวัดกระบี่ ซึ่งมีทั้งปะการังอ่อนและกัลปังหาพัดสีแดงตามไหล่ผาใต้น้ำที่ลึกลงไปราว๖๐เมตรและแหล่งปะการังอ่อนสีม่วงจากหน้าผาลึกลงไปใต้น้ำยาวถึง ๒๐๐ เมตรเป็นแหล่งชุมนุมของสัตว์น้ำนานาชนิด โดยเฉพาะกระเบนราหูซึ่งพบได้บ่อยครั้ง รวมทั้งฉลามวาฬและกุ้งตัวตลกสีสวย นับเป็น ๑ ใน ๑๐ จุดดำน้ำดีที่สุดในโลกซึ่งนักดำน้ำไม่ควรพลาดช่วงเวลาท่องเที่ยว : เดือนธันวาคม ถึง เดือนเมษายน ช่วงเวลาที่ดีที่สุดคือเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ถึงเดือนมีนาคมเวลาที่ดีที่สุด :ช่วงเวลาราว๑๐.๐๐น.ถึง๑๓.๐๐น.

Hin Muang, 1 of the top 10 in the world

Hin Muang and Hin Daeng are well-known diving spots of Krabi province. There are corals with red sea fans under the water that has a depth of 60 meters, and these purple colored coral attractions from the underwater cliff is 200 meters underwater and is a marine life attraction of various species, especially Manta Ray that can be commonly seen here along with Whale Shark and large prawns. Thus, this is ranked as one of the top 10 diving spots in the world.
