Monthly E-Newsletter – approximately 800 recipients in 27 counties and the list is growing (community leaders, elected officials, civic volunteers) In some communities the E-newsletter is forwarded through local networks.
Network Events: Council Meetings – Representatives from member communities meet 3 times during the year; brief presentation on a community development topic; delegates share information and network about what is happening around the region Network Luncheons – 5 to 6 luncheons held around the region, neighboring communities attend, approximately 35-45 attendees at each luncheon (community leaders, elected officials, civic volunteers)
Annual Conference – Abilene Civic Center; 300-400 attendees (community leaders, elected officials, civic volunteers, student leaders); solution seminars, expo for state & federal agencies and local organization, community awards presentation
Texas Midwest Guide – 50,000 printed copies distributed annually (Texas Travel Information Centers, CVBs, chambers of commerce, hotel/motels in region, advertisers), online version and apps available for all electronic devices
Lawmakers Luncheon – Held in May of the interim year of the State Legislature; invited honorees are State Senators & Representatives; approximately 200 attendees by invitation (elected officials, county & municipal representatives, economic development professionals, chamber of commerce representatives, healthcare professionals, high education representatives)
