Cancer to Become the Leading Cause of Death Worldwide:

World Health Organization (WHO)

Cancer will exceed heart disease as the leading cause of death by the end of 2010, an alarming trend that could more than double global cancer cases and deaths by 2030.

Extensive tobacco use in developing countries contributes to this crisis, particularly in China and India, where 40 percent of the world's smokers now live.

WHO reports cancer diagnoses around the world rise along with death rate: approximately 12 million in 2009 as global cancer deaths are expected to reach 7 million.

Situation of Study about the natural antitumor products derived from marine microorganisms

Some of the marine animals ,such as sponge coral and seaweed have strong antitumor activity,and studies have showed that it is the microorganisms in these animals

which have the antitumor activity,not the animals themselives

,analysis the active substance through the gas chromatograph(GC)or the HPLC,or some others
