News from the Gym

With the start of the 4th quarter, Mr. Pierce and Mrs. Rispler’s classes are back together in the gym after each having their

students in the Health classroom for nine weeks. Please help your student be successful in PE by reminding them about their PE uniform

requirement. Every student must be dressed down wearing a gray shirt/sweatshirt, black short/sweatpants and tennis shoes everyday to earn their points. Daily points consist of dressing down in proper colors, being on time, actively participating and being responsible for their behavior and actions.

Congratulations to the following students for being selected PE Student of the Month by

Mr. Pierce for the month of March…Sarah Bonilla, Alissa Moyak, Brianna Roney, Nick Welter, Carson Christian, James Phommasack, Jet Ittihrit, Yuka Kobayashi, Sidor Budeanu, Sarah Ming, Cristina Lopez and Chris Matos.

The last quarter of PE hopefully will be spent outside giving the kids a chance to play LaCrosse, Softball and Kickball, Frisbee Golf and relays. Currently, the classes have begun our Rhythmic unit learning simple line dances and steps in preparation for them to be able to put together a short routine of their own to perform…..it should be fun!
