Change is inevitable.  In Rheumatology, our practices are constantly evolving to meet the increased demands placed upon our physicians.   NORM allows us to face these challenges together.  You and your practice are not alone.  NORM is here to support you, the manager, to unlock the Hidden Treasurers of Rheumatology and to continuously steer a new course for your practice and patients. What keeps you up at night?  Is it the constant changes in CMS policies, or perhaps are you working hard to successfully report MIPS as the bar is raised each year?  Does your clinician’s documentation support medical necessity, and does it support your E & M codes?  Will your documentation hold up to an audit?  Do you have a compliance manual? Do you perform self-audits?  Whether you want to make sure your compliance program is up-do-date, or you want to implement a new program for your practice, NORM can help you access the hidden treasures to equip you with the skills and knowledge to establish a robust compliance program.  Our keynote speaker, Sean Weiss, will help us unlock the treasure chest to successfully create this program, and Susan urston will give us the “Key Ingredients for Auditing E/M Services”. Managing a rheumatology practice requires coordination with many parties and effective communication is essential. Dr. Paul White will teach us the 5 Languages of Appreciation and Motivation within the workplace, while the Four Square breakout activity will help each of us understand how our staff and patients experience the current office workplace, and envision what their desired office workplace experience would be. You will be able to apply Dr. White’s insight and your Forte data during this session. We can all agree that running a Rheumatology practice is complex and challenging.  At this year’s NORM conference, learn how to adjust the sails of your ship, and chart the next course for your practice.  We will unlock pearls on Stark laws, give a regulatory update, and provide you with networking opportunities through our popular Circles of Knowledge, hosted by the NORM Education Committee (NEC).  Whether this is your first time, or you are one of our many seasoned attendees, this year’s conference will offer something new for everybody. e investment of your time in leaving the office for a couple of days will be repaid tenfold, and we are grateful for the positive response we have received from physicians who recognize the value that these knowledge-sharing and networking events provide.   We hope to see you at this year’s NORM conference in Tampa.  We promise you will leave with many Hidden Treasures to transform and elevate your practice upon your return. Transcript of W national organization of rheumatology managers

Our keynote speaker, Sean Weiss, will help us unlock the treasure chest to successfully create this program, and Susan Thurston will give us the “Key Ingredients for Auditing E/M Services”.

The investment of your time in leaving the office for a couple of days will be repaid tenfold, and we are grateful for the positive response we have received from physicians who recognize the value that these knowledge-sharing and networking events provide.

We hope to see you at this year’s NORM conference in Tampa.  We promise you will leave with many Hidden Treasures to transform and elevate your practice upon your return.
