In behalf of AECAR, I would like to invite you to participate in the incoming 1/10th Off-Road European Championship 2009.

All of us will be pleased to Wellcome you to Spain. Bilbao is a modern city with very well preserved old areas. The Guggenheim museum is one of its emblematic points. Also, only a few kilometres away from Bilbao, you can enjoy coastal landscapes and highly prized beaches as Mundaka, a surfers' paradise.

I also hope that you will enjoy an excellent race and organization. Of course the sun and the beach is already booked for all of you.

Club CARBiFounded in 1994 the Club de Automodelismo Radiocontrolado de Bilbao has nowadays around 100 members and has been involved in the organization of Regional races every year as well as a total of six National Championships.

Because Carbi´s track is in a sports center, the facilities are very wide and complete. Also the new track was opened in 2008 and it is a multisurface and “three-dimensional” track with some parts uphill and downhill.

As organizer its experience is based in more than twenty main events in 1/10th off-road electrics.

All the main events has received a lot of publicity in radio, TV, newspaper. This diffusion generated a big attendance of spectators.

Their challenge now is to offer you a great event, the 1/10th Off-Road European Championship 2009.

The Track

Track Details: Total Length: 205 m Main Straight Lenght: 30 m Widht Track: 3’0 m Surface: vegetable ground and astro-turf. Two jumps and a plateau, four “sleeping policeman” Left curves: 8 Right curves: 6


Facilities (i)Closed to the track there is an two indoor tennis courts. The drivers and mechanichs will be allocated in this area to allow them to work comfortable. Acces to the Rostrum will be done directly through a little corridor. Distance from the boxes exit door to the podium stair is about 20 meters.

We would like to allocate

150 drivers!!


Facilities (ii)

Technical Inspection Office will be next to the rostrum to minimize the drivers walkings just before doing marshalling. We will use the tables you see in the picture to build up our Tech Inspection Office


Facilities (iii)

Next to the Track it will be fit out a place to facilitate loading and unloading.
