one of the oldest forms of dancein Odisha. The researchers /scholars have opined differentlyon its origin. The engraving ofLord Ram, Laxman and GoddesSita, found at “SITABANJHIHILLOCK” near Keonjhar isfamous and is known as “Ravan

Chaya”. Scholars have opinedthat, such engraving belongs to 4"Century A.D. Thus there is nodoubt that “Ravan Chaya” is oneof the very old format of dance.“Ravan Chaya” originates from“Odasha Village” and itsoriginator is “katha nail da dash”.
