In 2011, he returned from serving as the commanding general of the U.S. Army Reserve’s 103rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command and oversaw the effort to reduce the number of American troops in Iraq. Student art is exhibited in the student art gallery.
Theatre students become involved in their first trimester in studio, second stage and main stage productions. The Studio Theatre features state-of-the-art equipment. Mary Linn Auditorium features a large main stage and seating for more than 1,000.

I live more than six hours away, but I now consider Maryville and Northwest my home. I really feel comfortable at Northwest, and this is where I belong. Northwest provides a welcoming environment and it’s easy to get involved and meet people. My professors all know me by name, and my academic advisor not only helps me with choosing classes, but also is serving as a reference for job interviews and graduate school .
