Title: Vertical Files and Individual Items Collection Dates of Creation: dates vary; see individual item descriptions Physical Description: ca. 1.32 meters of textual records Scope and Content: Collection consists of all individually donated materials in the collection of the Kamloops Museum and Archives that do not relate to an established fonds or collection. Custodial History: Items were donated by individual donors from the formation of the Kamloops Museum and Archives to the present day. See individual item accession records for additional details. Many items were removed from original collections and placed in the Vertical Files or subject files by prior archives staff, and if identified as such were returned to said collection during re-processing of the collection in 2018. Other items which were connected to established fonds or collections were removed from the Vertical Files and placed in appropriate locations during re-processing of the collection in 2018. Specialized materials (such as photographs, maps, etc) were removed from the collection and placed with the appropriate format collection, as per previous practice.
