The DROP-IN CENTRE offers clients the opportunity
for physical activity and exposure to the arts among
other things. “This Centre offers so much to so many
people in this town, people with mental illness who
crave social stimulation, addicts who need a safe
environment. It’s a place where you can feel like a
normal human being,” says a client.

All money raised through a United Way campaign stays in the community that it was raised in. Members of the Community Impact Council – all volunteers, make the
decision where to invest the funds raised.

The PRE-TEEN PROGRAM offers extended learning opportunities for children between the ages of 7 – 12 most of whom do not have means within the family. They offer children fun and creative things to do while also taking them out in the community to experience all it has to offer. It also includes an anti-bullying and drug prevention program.
