El “CTE”, código técnico de la edificación, dentro de su docu-mento básico de seguridad de utilización 1 “db su 1 - seguri-dad frente al riesgo de caídas”, define los requisitos que debe cumplir un suelo para poder ser utilizado como pavimento de los edificios o zonas de uso sanitario, docente, comercial, administrativo, aparcamiento y pública concurrencia (excluidas las zonas de uso restringido). Para ello, el pavimento deberá cumplir con un valor mínimo al deslizamiento “RD”.

El valor de resistencia al des-lizamiento “rd”, se determina mediante el ensayo del péndulo descrito en el anexo a de la norma une-env 12633: 2003.

To comply, the flooring must achieve a minimum slip resistance (RD) value.

The slip resistance (rd) value is determined using the pendulum test described in appendix a of standard une-env 12633: 2003.
