Kinds of landLand should be fertile. though fertile land is useful for plantation yet it is suggested for vastu may be because plantation is equally necessary for a happy home.Land should be solid. Useful suggestions

XThe kitchen should not be directly in front of the main door.

Keep all electrical /heat generating appliances In the south east corner of the room.

Mirrors, sinks, wash -basins and taps should preferably be along the North -East Walls.Keep no borken mirrors in the house.X

The safe should open towards the north or the east. So keep it alongsouth or the west. The toilet seat should preferably be along the North - South axis. The septic tank can be the North West or the South East corner of the house .

Your main door should not be opposite the main door of another house.XAvoid having garbagedump, street -light pole, orboulders in front of the maingate or door.

While swabbing the floorwith any disinfectant,a little saindhava lavana orsea salt should be added. Students should study facing the north or east.

It leads to tension quarrel and insufficient growth of the inhabitants; especially children of the owner.In an industry any fault, ditch or broken part in the direction of north - east will get handicapped child to the industralist.

Improper position of the bed-room/bed brings unhappiness in the married lifeand causes disturbed sleep. Having a toilet/fireplace innorth - east corner of the house or industry can ruin it financially besides mental tension & quarrelamongst people.

A water body or source should be in the east or North - east of the plot. Having a water body in the south - east /south position of the house can cause damage to male child/wife of the owner. A under -ground water tank in south - west can be fatal to the head of thefamily or owner of the industry.

More open space in north or east gives name, fame and prosperity. Leaving more space on the south -west side in the house can affect the male members badly; whereas in industry it leads to financial loss and quarrel amongst partners.

Depression the south -west can result in to a serious illness to the habitants, whereas depression in north -west causes enemity and litigation. The depression in south portion of the building restricts growth besides financial problems.

Extension in the south -west may result in loss of health, loss of money and other unmoutable problems, whereas an extension in south -east may lead to fire. Accidents, theft, and court litigation.

Heavy machinery has to be installed in South, West and South -West in the factory.Finished products are to be keptin the North West corner. Itwould help quick movementsof the stock & early recovery there of.

Transformers, generators, motors, boilers, furnaces, oil -engines etc. should be kept in south -east or southern portionof the plot/building.Central space is better left open or used for rituals.Keralas /Rajasthans traditional four sided house with a central courtyard and verandahs all around, is model of Vaastu design.
