Variety both large and smallFilm sealing devicesThis product group includes film-sealing devices that can quickly and simply seal the most diverse thermoplastic films.

The sealing seam lengths range from 220 mm to more than 2000 mm. Large and small bags, but also film webs, film sacks or tubes, can be sealed with these film-sealing devices. A number of film-sea-ling devices are also available with air aspiration, e.g. for volume reduction.

Most film-sealing devices operate with bilaterally heated bars in ad-dition to a relatively high contact pressure. The sealing time is infi-nitely adjustable and can subsequently be optimally adapted to the respective type of film used.

Our film-sealing devices are user-friendly. The fields of application range cover a broad spectrum of tasks. The devices can also be fit-ted with other heating strips for special sealing tasks or are comple-tely adapted to the individual requirements. The accessories that we offer for the devices are a sensible supplement in order to optimise your working process.

Product information

These film sealing devices are used for rapid and simple sealing of film bags. They are available in two different sealing lengths: 220 mm and 300 mm. The sealing time is con-tinuously adjustable to allow sealing of the most diverse types of thermoplastic film.

The impulse is triggered by simply pressing the lever downwards.

The possible applications cover a wide area and range from contract packaging, inclu-ding household products and warehouse packaging.

These lightweight heat sealing pliers can be used for the most diverse applications. The connecting cable 4.5 m in length guarantees a wide radius of action. A special insulating material prevents uncomfortable handle temperatures. Handling comfort with pleasant temperatures is maintained even at a working temperature of 250 °C.

The heat sealing pliers are suitable for all paper and aluminium laminates. Depending on the material type and thickness, the tempera-ture is continuously adjustable from 60 °C up to 250 °C.

The devices are used in conjunction with a impulse unit. The impulse time is continuously adjustable. The H device is particularly light and is simply pressed on to the film to be sealed, whereupon the impulse is switched on. The H device and impulse unit are connected by a cable 3 metres long.

A smooth counter base is an advantage in order to be able to guarantee a neat and tight seam.

These long-nosed sealing pliers can be used wherever access to the films to be sealed is difficult and the standard sealing pliers cannot be used owing to their shape. The forwards pointing sealing bars can be used to conveniently seal together tubular films from the roll for example. These handy pliers dispense with laborious adhesive joining of the film strips.

With these sealing pliers, films can be sealed almost anywhere. All that is needed is a 12-volt battery or a dashboard socket (cigarette lighter). The handy pulse genera-tor can be plugged into these connections and mobile sealing can begin immediately.

The continuous sealing devices allow sea-ling of composite materials.

The constant heating and robust design emphasise the fact that these “sealers” were conceived for permanent professional use. Coated paper and aluminium bags up to a thickness of 0.8 mm are sealed with the ideal contact pressure, since the spring-mounted embossing rollers always adapt to the material to be sealed.

All the devices of this series are equipped with digital temperature control. For appli-cations with frequent changes in the film material, the devices can also be equipped with infinitely adjustable run-through speed.

Accessories

We offer different stands for the FERMANT® film sealing devices. You can choose between different table and floor stands. We will be pleased to advise you.

In order to allow optimum working con-ditions, our range includes a undwin-ding device (order no. 2 010 630) and a support table with a stop (order no. 2 010 633). Also a manual cutting device is available for the FERMANT® series.

Since process data recording is constantly increasing in importance, we offer resistron temperature control with an interface for a large number of our devices. A connection with a PC is established via this interface. All the current sealing parameters can be recorded and analysed with the aid of the software provided.

Product information

The new FERMANT® Compact series has been available in sealing lengths of 460 and 600 mm up to now. The devices were speci-fically design for use in a damp environment. The degree of protection is comparable to IP 54 and even IP 65 for the foot switch. This guarantees optimum protection against projected water from all directions. The sea-ling device is manufactured from rustproof stainless steel throughout.

Owing to the large bar operating radius, it is also possible to seal bags with a large ex-cess width. The bar opening of 80 mm allows easy insertion of the bags to be sealed.

Our tried and trusted digital control allows easy adjustment of the sealing parameters, which therefore remain constant and are reproducible at any time. Applications

Product information

These devices are used above all for airtight and watertight sealing of film bags.

The FERMANT® NC-LH is primarily characte-rised by its userfriendliness. Simply set the impulse and cooling time according to the type of film and insert the film bag between the sealing bars. When air suction begins, the clamping strip holds the bag in place automatically. Both hands therefore remain free for aligning the film bag. This makes it possible to seal even larger bags safely and cleanly.

Reduction in volume by air suctionThe air suction protects bulk goods or eletronic/mechanical components against undesirable shaking movements.

FERMANT® NC-LH devices are also used successfully wherever reducing the volume of packaging as far as possible is involved.

Product information

The FERMANT® 40 NC 2M-T serves to seal thermoplastic tubes. It is used wherever small batch sizes or pilot batches are to be sealed in a rational manner.

The impulse time and contact pressure are continuously digitally selectable and can be adapted to the thickness of the type of tubes used in each case. The tubes are passed through form bars before sealing. Two lifting magnets provide the required contact pressure and guarantee reliable sealing of the tubes.

This tube sealing device is also availble in stainless and acid-resistant stainless steel.

Accessories

A manual embossing system is availa-ble as an accessory. Using the latter, a numerical code (e.g. serial number, filling and expiry date, etc.) can be quik-kly and easily embossed on the sealing seam of plastic tubes.

Two tube magazines are available, which we can adapt according to your requirements and instructions.

Simple, unproblematic adaption to the tube height is possible by the height-adjustable stand (order no. 2 012 737).

The device can be equipped on request with temperature control, e.g. for sea-ling aluminium composite films.

These special versions of the HTM sealing device with air aspiration allow sealing with simultaneous volume reduction. A special clamping strip keeps the sack airtight during the aspiration process. Outflow of the air is therefore prevented and the aspiration process is shortened. Large volume packed goods can also be sealed with volume re-duction. The volume reduction results among other aspects in savings in costs during transport.
