Kid’s Night Out!

Kid’s Night Out will be meeting the second Friday of every month. Youth

grades 1-6 are welcomed to the church for a fun evening of learning just for

them! This event will always be held the

second Friday of each month. Join us May 12 & June 9 from 6-8:30PM.

Friends are always welcome!

If you are interested in helping out with these monthly events, see a member

Be sure to check out the new Kid’s Zone in the chapel! This is an area where our little ones are welcome to color, draw, put together puzzles and do worksheets. This will allow them to

engage actively in the worship life of the church

OMMC is very excited to announce that in October 2017 the Eastern District will be hosting the annual

Youth Rally and Quiz Bowl in Tuscarawas County! We are partnering with churches all over the Eastern

District in order to make this happen. Part of this event is the Quiz Bowl - youth will be asked questions based on biblical knowledge, church history and doctrine. We will be putting together a county wide team to

compete. The Quiz Bowl is for Middle School and High School youth.

We look forward to this District event and meeting Moravians from all over! More information will be

available in the coming weeks.

NEWS FROM THE BOARDS Elders Meeting Summaries

2017 Watchword ~ Jesus said, “Consider the ravens: they neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn, and yet God feeds them. Of how much more value are you then the birds!”

Luke 12:24 April 2, 2017 Elders Meeting - The monthly elder’s meeting was held after church April 2, 2017 with 5 members present. Discussion about Palm Sunday, Easter and the call process need for privacy and listening to God with prayer being essential. Plans for communions, lovefeasts, joyful noise causes and elder on duty were planned. A request for a non-member marriage vow renewal was denied due to the lack of a pastor at this time. The meeting ended with prayer for the congregation and the will of God in the pastor call process. Respectfully Submitted, Gloria Rentsch, substitute Secretary
