UVXDeveloped as a new generation of advanced topcoats, Tnemec’s UVX products are specially formulated to resist ultraviolet (UV) light degradation and weathering while retaining color and gloss in architectural and industrial exposures.

UVX VS. STANDARD POLYURETHANES AND POLYSILOXANES • As illustrated on the graphs below, UVX showed outstanding color stability and superior gloss retention after 10,000 hours of accelerated UV exposure, proving its outstanding aesthetic merits. The graph indicates UVX outperformed a standard aliphatic polyurethane and also has better gloss retention than a polysiloxane. In comparison, UVX showed similar color retention to a standard polyurethane while out performing a polysiloxane after the same number of hours.
