ConnectingfromiPhone/iPad/iPodTouch

1 PlugtheSanDiskConnectWirelessStickintoacomputerorUSB-ACadaptor

to ensure that it’s fully charged. A full charge can take up to 2 hours.

DevicecannotbeconnectedusingaUSBcable.

2 Install the “SanDisk Connect” app , if not already

installed.

3 TurnontheWirelessStickbypressingandreleasingthepowerbutton

Applicationoverview

SanDisk Connect app is the companion to your Wireless Stick. Its major

functions:

1. Addphotos/videos fromthecameraroll to theWirelessStickwith the ‘+’

button.

2. AccessotherfunctionssuchasAuto-backup,“MyDownloads”,settingsand

transfercontactsthroughthemenuiconinthetopleftcorner.

Transfer photos and videos (camera roll) from your device to the

WirelessStick

1 UsetheSanDiskConnectmobileapptoaccessyourWirelessStick.

2 Selecttheaddfilebutton“+”.

3 Whenpromptedto“select files”,choosethephotosandvideosyouwant

totransferfromyourdevicetotheWirelessStick.

4 “Select Destination” to specifywhere to store the files on yourWireless

Stick.

Transfer files between Wireless Stick and a device using a web

browser

You can transfer files between Wireless Stick and any device with a web

browser. This could be useful when a mobile app is not available for a

specific platform or it is not possible to install the mobile app on shared

devices.Forcomputersthiswillallowmultipledevicestoconnectwirelessly

viaabrowserinsteadofadirectUSBconnection.

Not all features available in the mobile app are available via the web

browser. Drag anddrop file upload is supported in browsers that support

draganddrop.

We understand how important it is for you to stay connected to Internet.

WirelessStickprovidestwooptionsforyourmobiledevice(phone/tablet)that

will allow you to maintain an Internet connection while simultaneously

connecting to the Wireless Stick: Mobile Internet (LTE/4G) or a local Wi-Fi

network.

UsingmobileInternet

Bydefault, theWirelessStickwillconnecttothe Internetviamobile Internet

(LTE/4G). YourmobiledevicewillconnecttotheWirelessStickviaWi-Fiand

will remain connected to the Internet via the mobile device’s LTE/4G

connection.

Web Distributed Authoring and Versioning (WebDAV) is an extension of

HypertextTransferProtocol(HTTP)thatallowsclientstoperformremoteWeb

content authoring operations such as file management. TheWireless Stick

supportsWebDAVasafiletransferprotocol.

Since WebDAV is an open protocol, many WebDAV client (iOS, Android,

Windows,Mac,etc)willwork.

YouwillneedtobeonthesameWi-FinetworkastheWirelessStick.Seethe

previoussectionsonhowtoconnect toyourWirelessStick. IndefaultWi-Fi

mode(WirelessSticknotconnectedtoanexistingWi-Finetwork),thedefault

Allwireless devices are susceptible to interference,whichmight affect the

performanceofaWirelessStick.

DonotswitchonaWirelessStickinrestrictedareasorareaswherewireless

devices are prohibited. When instructed to do so, switch off theWireless

Stick in restricted areas such as those near medical equipment,

fuel/chemicals,orblastingareas,orwheninstructedtoinaircraft.

The Wireless Stick contains a lithium polymer battery that has been fully

testedforsafety.However,severalprecautionsshouldbetakenwhenusing

aWirelessStick:

• WhenaWirelessStickisinapocketwithothermetallicobjects,make

surethecapisinplace.

• NeverchargeaWirelessStickunattended.

• ChargeaWirelessStickinanareaawayfromflammablematerials.

• NeverintentionallyheataWirelessStickinamicrowaveovenordryer

orplaceinafire.NeverusetheWirelessStickintemperaturesabove

60°C(140°F).

• Stop using aWireless Stick if any abnormal heat, odor, deformation,

discoloration, or other abnormal condition is detected. If any liquid

leaks from aWireless Stick, wash your hands well with fresh water

immediately.Ifliquidgetsintoyoureyes,washwithedibleoilandsee

adoctorimmediately.

TheWirelessStickisnotwaterresistant.

DonotstoreaWirelessStick inextremetemperatures. High temperatures

canshortenthelifeofthedevicebydamagingthebatteryorcausewarping

ormeltingoftheplasticenclosure.Coldtemperaturescanalsoshortenthe

lifeof theWirelessStickbydamagingthebattery,causingplasticenclosure

tocrack,orcausingmoisturetocondenseonorinsidethedevice.

Keep the Wireless Stick dry. Water or other liquids can damage it. In

addition,highhumiditycancausecondensationtoform. IfaWirelessStick

getswet,turnitoff,placeit ina low-humidityenvironment,andallowitto

completelydry.

Do not store aWireless Stick in a dusty or dirty area becausemechanicals

partsmaybedamagedorceasetowork.

Donotattempt toopenormodifyaWirelessStick. It containsno internal

serviceable parts. Attempting to modify aWireless Stick can damage the

deviceandcauseittooperateinviolationofgovernmentregulationsandcan

causeasafetyconcern.

Do not drop, shake, strike, crush, or blend a Wireless Stick as this may

damagethedevice.

IfaWirelessStickbecomesdamaged,haltuseimmediately.

Cleaning

BeforecleaningaWirelessStick,disconnectitfromanyUSBportandturnoff

device.IftheoutsideoftheWirelessStickissoiled,useacloththathasbeen

slightlydampenedwithwater to clean theoutside. Donot allowwater to

entertheWirelessStickaroundthepowerbuttonorUSBconnector.

MaintenanceandStorage

TheWirelessStickcontainsalithiumpolymerbatterythatneedspropercare

forbestusage. Notethatwhile the lithiumpolymerbatterydoesnothave

anymemoryeffect,propercaseisrequiredforthebestusage

StandardMaintenance

Forpropermaintenanceofthebattery,itisbesttoperiodicallyletthe

WirelessStickdischarge.WedonotrecommendkeepingtheWirelessStick

pluggedin.Forthebestbatterylife,werecommendcharginganddischarging

theWirelessStickatleastoneamonth.

LongTermStorage

IftheWirelessStickwillnotbeused,itisbesttokeepthebatteryaround50%

charged.Tochargethebatterytoapproximately50%,fullydischargethe

WirelessStickuntilitturnsitselfoff,thenletitchargefor1hour.Storethe

Recycling

PleaserecyclealltheWirelessStickpackaging,ifappropriaterecyclingfacilities

recyclingstationinyourcommunitytopreventuncontrolledwastedisposal

anddisposeofthebatteryproperly.
