facts• Facebook was launched on February 4, 2004 by Harvard

student.

• Founder and C.E.O, Mark Zuckerberg.

• It became the juggernaut of social media.

• Facebook Inc.'s market value exceeded $200 billion to put it among the world's biggest corporations.

• 654 million average users have joined facebook by June 2014, including Country Leaders, Well known faces, Artists, Politicians, and etc. from around the world.

CONCEPT

Views• Like every coin has its Head and Tail, and every topic has

its Pros and Cons, likewise the FACEBOOK also has it.

• It has its Positive side aswell as Negative side too.

Advantages/Use of Using Facebook

• It is cost free to access and create own account and it's one of the best medium for communication and very easy to use.

• You can send message, start a video call, upload photos, share views, issues, and their likes and dislikes in a matter of time.

• It connects to people from anywhere in the world with anyone via the empowerement of internet access in the palm of your hand which took communication to the next level and excitement.

• 48% of youths said they found out about news through Facebook and different identity facebook pages.

• After the Facebook application got handy in android, apple and smartphones, people are more active and can access any information and news at anytime, from various news pages, of their idols, role models, leaders, politicians, economy, etc. instantly.

• Even the worldwide known politicians, politic leaders, Public figures, Artist, etc. are in facebook and share their activities, feelings to aware and run campaigns to communicate easily and instantly with the belonging ones and public.

Disadvantages/Misuse of Facebook

• Facebook is Addicting! For some people Facebook could be more addicting than Cigarette! 

• It kills our precious time.

• It basically exploits the minds of youth due to negative impact of anti-social photos, informations, and exploitation.

• People spend their most of ideal times staying tune in facebook instead of using their creativity and wasting their potentials in daily activity.

• If it gets in wrong hand then it causes serious emotional effect on any one with the worst impact which can damage anyone’s life.

• Mostly the youth misuse it to abuse their past relationship which might end up with pity consequences like suicide, or exploited video, photos.

Staying safe on Facebook/ Internet• Keep the amount of private information you post to a minimum.

• Never post information like your detailed address, birthdate, telephone number, or anything else that you would not want a stranger to know which may harm you.

• Keep your password a secret.

• Make sure to adjust your privacy setting to access only people you want to review your page.

• Be cautious about posting and sharing the personal information, especially information that could be used to identify you or locate you offline, such as your address or telephone number, your loved ones, etc.
