Many thanks to all the residents who have already provided this information. Use caution entering/exiting parking lot Please use extreme caution when entering and exiting the parking garage. One of our residents was struck by a car exiting the parking garage. Additionally, we have had many people nearly struck, along with near collisions. Also, make sure that you are parked evenlv between the yellow lines (or blue lines if parked in the handicapped spaces). If you exit your vehicle and find that you are not parked properly, please be considerate of others; get back in your car, and make necessary adjustments. We are monitoring this issue closely and if not parked properly, you may receive a call to move your vehicle. This is in an effort to maximize parking and avoid damage to vehicles. A special thank you to council member Charles Johnson who is monitoring all Devon parking lots at least three times per day. Please try and avoid parking on Clinton Street. If you must park on that street, do not block walkways or driveways. Neighbor at risk? Wellness Check provides assistance If you are concerned about the well-being of a neighbor, you must call 911 for a "wellness check." Devon staff is not permitted to enter a unit to check on a resident.

Committee update on

parking expansion

The Parking Committee is notgoing to pursue any ftirtheraction related to limited parkingin the Devon lots because the

cost of expansion would beprohibitive.

A plan from 23 years ago wasfound which described different

ways to add 22-24 spaces. Theseplans included possibly usingsome of the landscaped propertyin back of the Devon or buildinga two-tier garage on the 14^sideof the building.

As of 23 years ago, theestimated cost of this project was$600,000. The cost today wouldbe considerably higher.

Lost and Found

During the strong winds, thisdecorative lizard was found in

the rose bushes in front of the

building. If it belongs to you, itcan be picked up in the Devonoffice.

Important Reminders

DROP BOX: The locked drop box has been installed just outsideof the Devon office door (directly across from the restroom). Thisbox is readily available to all residents for payments andcorrespondence. During regular business hours, Kathleen willempty the box several times a day. Then, she will remove allcontents first thing Monday morning, following the weekend. Thislocked drop box is monitored by a camera.

TRASH ROOM:

• All bags placed in the trash and recycling can must bedouble tied insuring bags are secure. No loose trash orrecycling is permitted in the cans.

• No bags larger than 13 gallons• No bags heavier than 251bs.• All boxes (no matter what size) must be broken down, flat

before being placed in the trash room. If you are unable tobreakdown your boxes, please call the Devon office andrequest a work order for Gary or Rob to assist withbreaking down the boxes and transporting them directly tothe recycling dumpster. This will be billed at $5 for every15 minutes (the usual cost of a work order).

• No items may be left in the service area outside of the trashroom.

Get ready to enjoy the Devon poolOur pool is an attractive feature of living at the Devon. Follow

the below steps to access the pool this season:• All Devon residents and outside owners must obtain a

Devon issued picture ID to enter the pool enclosure• Everyone in the pool enclosure must be wearing a "Devon

Pool 2019" or blue guest wristband (except children under8 years old)

• Beginning Monday, April 15, 2019, Kathleen will beginissuing the Devon picture ID and 2019 wristbands duringregular business hours Monday through Friday 9am-12pmand lpm-3pm.

Extra bonus: If you obtain your Devon picture ID andwristbands between April 22"*' and May you will receive 2free guest wristbands!
