FIGHT AUSTERITY DEFEND OUR UNIONS T he election of Jeremy Corbyn as Labour leader has given encouragement to everyone who wants to build resistance to austerity. But we face huge attacks from the Tories. Central to this assault is the Trade Union Bill. If passed new laws will criminalise picketing, introduce new thresholds for ballots, attack union facility time and limit unions’ right to fund political parties. The trade union and anti-austerity movement needs to mobilise now against the Bill. We need a massive turn out in London at the TUC lobby of parliament on Monday 2 November against it. But we also need to defy the laws if they are passed, before they are used to break the fight back against austerity in the workplaces. And it’s crucial that we link the fight to defend our unions and oppose austerity with opposition to the scapegoating of refugees. FIGHT AUSTERITYDEFEND OUR UNIONS

The election of Jeremy Corbyn as Labour leader has given encouragement to

everyone who wants to build resistance to austerity.

We can’t let them divide our side.
