Don’t Forget to Update
Your DKG Profile
This time of year often brings changes in mail and/or email
addresses, so don’t forget to update your MyDKG Profile on the International website. If you need help
registering on the profile page, please contact Miranda Dunn for the how-to instructions! It has also
been brought to our attention that school email addresses are often sending newsletter and other information sent from ETA state and the chapter to
the spam folder. They have recommended registering with your personal email address to
ensure you are getting all DKG communications!

Important Changes to Dues and Membership
Chapters will now keep $7.50 of future $10.00 initiation fees, and $2.50 will be sent to Eta State NC treasurer, effective immediately. International will no longer receive any of the
initiation fee.
Beginning with the 2019-2020 year, dues and fees will be collected by June 30th each
year. This will allow International and Eta State NC to receive dues and fees by July 1, the beginning of each DKG fiscal year.
The 2018 convention amended the DKG Constitution to include a new classification of Socie-
ty members: collegiate members. Such members must pay international annual dues of $20 but are not required to pay either an induction fee or a scholarship fee.
Eta State President Connie Savell reminds all members
about the availability of the
Emergency Fund.
If you have had significant dam-age due to Hurricane Florence,
you may qualify for this $500
assistance.
Please see Miranda Dunn for an
electronic copy of the request
form.

Eta State NC New Chapter Leaders
Training
At the Eta State NC New Chapter Leaders
Training this June, Ruth Jones presented a
break-out session.
Dear Sisters,
I hope to have a large turnout for our October chapter meet-ing! Kylene Dibble with Parents for Public Schools has a won-derful program prepared for us and we also hope to re-introduce our newest chapter members.
The executive board has been busy planning for the year, but many of the committee chairs are in need of help! Several committees are lacking members to lend that extra hand that is needed. Please be thinking about how you can serve an active role in our chapter and sign-up to be on a committee! I plan to have a sign-up sheet at the October chapter meeting for those members who are not currently serving on a committee.
I look forward to seeing you all soon!
In Sisterhood,
Miranda Dunn
