(CFBC) technology Dec 1995 to Nov, 99 (Project Appraisal)

Technology Development of Mega Power Projects Monitored the on-going Renovation & Mordernization (R&M) Works of Thermal Power Projects in

the Western Region of India. Identified Renovation & Modernization activities of Indian Power plants for implementation

during 9th Five year Plan, and compiled 9th Plan Schemes. Contributed in setting up of R&D Chairs of CEA at IIT Delhi

June, 1984 to December, 1995 (Power project Consultancy)

Headed the Consultancy Team at Anpara Super Thermal Power Station site. Provided total Design Consultancy in Erection, Testing & Commissioning of 3x210 MW and 2x500 MW Units for about 12 years.

Undertook Total System Design and layout finalization of integrated project complex

comprising of 3 units of 210 MW and 2 units of 500 MW. Designed DAS Software for Heat Rate computation & optimization. Supervised PG Test of 500MW unit as ASME representative. October, 1975 to June, 1984 (Teaching & Consultancy)

Deputy Director (Faculty) at National Power Training Institute (previously PETS), New Delhi. The duties included: Development of course material for Power Plant Teaching & Research. Teaching in Power Plant Technology to the Graduate Engineers. Design & Development of stimulated experiments for Power plant Analysis, Research &

Teaching. Performance monitoring and Acceptance Testing on Thermal Units. Setting-Up of training facilities at various places including one at Zimbabwe. Development of Teaching Aids, and simulators.
