Universal Studios Japan®⎯ ⎯Forever Love Christmas, an spectacular and romantic night fantasy lagoon show

featuring magnificent lights, to be performed for the first time⎯

August 31, 2011 (Wed) Universal Studios Japan will celebrate its 10th anniversary with the theme of "the happiest surprise in its Park history," holding a winter seasonal event, Universal Wonder Christmas, for 63 days from November 8, 2011 (Tue) to January 9, 2012 (Mon, national holiday). The Christmas tree will be totally different from last year's. A dazzling Christmas tree, beautifully reflected on the surface of the lake, will appear on the lagoon located in the center of the Park as a symbol of the Christmas season. About 30 meters in height, it will be decorated with numerous LED lights and ornaments in the shapes of snow crystals and icicles. Guests can enjoy the magnificent sight of the tree both in daytime and at night. On a floating stage with the Christmas tree at its center, Forever Love Christmas, a romantic and night fantasy lagoon show of spectacular lights will be performed for the first time. In the daytime, Happy Snow Party, a cheerful Christmas show, which amazes guests like a toy box given as a Christmas gift, will be performed. Guests can enjoy Christmas snow-fall together with Snowman and popular Park characters. Moreover, Santa Claus, officially certified by the government of Lapland, a province of Finland will come to the Park from Santa Claus Village and stay at the Park during the Christmas period. This event was held last year as well, and was very popular among our guests. Universal Studios Japan will help our guests make unique Christmas memories which they can experience only at Universal Studios Japan. Forever Love Christmas is a spectacular Christmas show performed on the Lagoon located in the center of the Park after sunset. A fantastic and romantic love story will be performed on the floating stage set on the lake. At the climax of the story, spectators will see the most beautiful scene they've ever experienced, produced with pyrotechnics, fantastic illuminations, and an

incredible number of lights emitted from the Christmas tree reflecting on the surface of the Lagoon. This exciting experience shared with their beloved will be worth everything for our guests. was living in that tree. The Prince of the North Lake Land and the Princess of the South Lake Land set out for the Christmas tree to confirm their eternal love. On the way to the tree, they worked together to overcome obstacles like deep forest and a lake. Finally when their love became eternal, the Christmas tree lit up brilliantly as a symbol of their eternal love.

◆ Happy Snow Party⎯Enjoy Exciting Christmas Party with Popular Park Characters Happy Snow Party, which was a very popular Christmas event last year, will be held this year as well. Familiar and popular Park characters including Woody Woodpecker™, Elmo from Sesame Street™, Snoopy, Hello Kitty, and Pink Panther will get together to boost the Christmas atmosphere at the Park in the daytime. In addition, Snowman and other characters that guests can meet only during Christmas period will join in the merry party. The excitement-filled show will be performed on colorful floats (mobile stages) in the shape of a toy locomotive, adding to the Christmas atmosphere. Cute gestures of the characters will bring smiles to the faces of our guests. Moreover, snow falls at the end of the show, which will delight our guests because snow is rarely seen in Osaka.

to the Universal Studios Japan this year as well. He will stay at the Park during Christmas period to meet, greet and take photos with guests at the Finland Santa Claus House. In addition, he prepares adorable Christmas gifts to our guests. We hope that our guests can enjoy happy and precious time with Santa Claus.

◆ Special Christmas Illuminations for the 10th Anniversary During the Christmas period, special illuminations will embrace the entire Park with Christmas mood. The Promenade of the Lights consists of illuminations lighting the main street (approx. 360 m) stretching straight from the Park entrance as well as its surrounding areas after sunset. The brilliantly glowing Christmas tree on the Lagoon lights up the surrounding areas following the performance of the Forever Love Christmas show. A huge Christmas wreath 5 meters in diameter will be displayed at the entrance gate. In addition, Christmas ornaments will decorate the Birthday Cake placed at the entrance in commemoration of the Park's 10th anniversary. Hollywood Area streets filled with Christmas atmosphere will enchant our guests. Many street performances which can be seen during Christmas period only will appear at the Park. Christmas mood will be elevated at Park restaurants and shops with menus and goods for Christmas period only. Universal Wonder Christmas is a seasonal event that guests can enjoy with the standard Studio Pass.
