When it comes to offshore pipeline installation works, UDMC are the specialists.We supply, install and commission HDPE, concrete and GRP pipelines of varioussizes and configurations throughout the GCC for both government and privateprojects, with the vast majority being pipeline installation projects fordesalination and power plants. Our proven capabilities includes supply andmanufacturing of pipelines, diffusers, intake screens, manholes, concrete blocks,gabions and other accessories as required. Union Dredgers is able to handle thecomplete scope, from onshore and offshore excavation, pipe welding, laying,testing and commissioning.

Our experienced design team is capable of designing and managing a full turnkeymarine system to meet all your needs from feed to final approval. A few examples

Sheet piles are long structuralsections with interlockingconnections, driven into the groundwith impact or vibratory hammers toform an impermeable barrier. With ourvast experience in erecting sheetpiling with our specialized equipmentwe can ensure that trenches andexcavation pits are safe to work andreach desired depths.

UDMC has actively been involved in thesupply & installation of geotextiletubing for beach protection. We usegeotextile sheets and other materialsto protect the beaches from erosiondue to the shifting tides, storm damageand other natural occurrences. We canalso supply silt curtains to protectdebris from dredging works spreadingto other areas.

1800mm diameter HDPE intake and outfall pipes.• Offshore dredging works• HDPE Welding utlising our 2200mm butt fusion welding

machine.• Hydrostatic testing .

Desilting and dredging operations within Dubai Marina.The project required the removal and disposal of silt andconstruction waste using a combination of dredgingtechniques. Silt curtains and custom fabricated dredgingpontoons were deployed along with strict procedures toprotect the sensitive environment within the marina. Ourdivers also conducted a detailed video survey of the areabefore, during and after excavation and dredging works.

Beach reclamation and proling work’s for the Palm Jumeirah. With65 Kilometers of beaches and constant erosion, UDMC werecontracted to carry out the beach reclamation works. Sand wasdredged from the water between the fronds using specialized lowimpact, custom fabricated, dredging equipment before beingdeposited onto depleted beaches. Earthmoving equipment wasthen utilized to return the beaches to the original profile.

Rock Revetment in Al-

Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi

• Dredging Works underneath the bridge to increase the depthof the Waterway.

• Supply and installation of Rock protection under two bridges inAbu Dhabi. The project required excavation, dredging andlevellingof the existing ground area. Geotextiles were then installed forthe base of the rock armour.

• Revetment rocks were then positioned as per design drawings

using heavy equipment.
