PREPARING FOR THE PROGRAM:Collaborate with other campuses to create gaming competitions with prizes (you can also add research-related topics too);

When leading a program like International Game Day, be sure to partner with student life, academic affairs, IT, or other groups that could lend a hand; student workers love to help and appreciate this!

PREPARING FOR THE PROGRAM:Make sure you promote in advance through social media, email listservs, flyers, etc. Suggest faculty participation as well;

Scheduling appropriate space and time (before finals / midterms week) would be a good idea to reduce student stress;

Have a purpose: keep track of the program via metrics, photos and sharing it online and recording it for next year.
