CPD – Where we are Today
• Agreement from board to proceed with preparation of on-line CPD modules (not participation in roadshow seminars)
• Membership of the Construction CPD Certification Service – recognised by 32Professional institutions
•Agreement that Voltimum will not try to ‘steal’ opportunities from partners . Will offerA limited number of Voltimum seminars. Will ‘advertise/promote’ existing offerings of Founders
• Broad concept on format and delivery of Seminars (technically)
• Have had discussions with Expert Group and undertaken not to ‘cheapen’ Voltimum CPDs by making them too simple.
• 4 groups, with leaders now to work together to identify 1 topic each by end June
• Will endeavour to ‘charge’ a fee for Voltimum CPD modules.
• Target: to have first topic ready for assessment in Q4 for launch in Q1 2005
Library and Business Services Universe
Library and Business Services
Brief:
To create a searchable area for documentation (price lists, case studies, etc…) and
other useful services that can be used by manufacturers, Government bodies,
Market Research companies, Software Manufacturers, MRO service providers,
Financial Services, Equipment Hire companies, Commercial Vehicles and many
others.
Solution:• Originally planned to have two directories – Library and Business Services• Create one Directory for all this information to appear – ‘The Electrical Directory’
Benefits:• Revenue generator• More services and information available to user database• New newsletter to be generated regarding business services.
• Target Companies
Manufacturer Link
Manufacturer Link
Idea:
The ‘Manufacturer Link’ enables manufacturers and others to link their own
websites, e.g. www.abb.com, to their own specific catalogue in Voltimum.
Benefits:• Use of one catalogue…• Update one website rather than two…• Use of the rich technical data that you provide
