As a Hand-Arm Vibration Meter

Quick to ChangeTo change from a sound level meterto a vibration meter, simply unscrewthe microphone/preamplifier assem-bly and replace it with the acceler-ometer/charge amplifier assembly.The instrument detects the changeautomatically.

Two Frequency WeightingsTwo weightings are available: hand-arm and linear. The hand-arm weigh-ing makes the instrument most sen-sitive to frequencies that most effectthe human body when working withhand-held tools. The linear settingprovides a flat response. The settingyou need may change depending onlocal regulations.

If you want a hand-arm vibration me-ter alone, ask your Brel & Kjrdealer about the Type 2537. It hasall the vibration monitoring featuresof the Type 2237 B, but does not in-clude the sound level meter function.
