The Rosendaal human settle-ments project, situated close toRoosendal High School, formallykicked off the first phase of theDelft integrated housing projectwhich will lead to the eventualconstruction of 2407 subsidisedhousing units.

Some cool comedy comes to The JosephStone Auditorium on Friday (10 April)when The Cape Flats Comedy Jam takes tothe stage.The event is the brainchild of actor, break

dancer and stand-up comedian AmbroseUren, who grew up in Bonteheuwel andMitchells Plain.He started his career as a break dancer

travelling the world for competitions andevents. He then studied acting and asbooked for numerous roles on TV and thebig screen.Ambrose started his comedy career at Ra-

dert 1999 gebruikword as riglynommishandeling en verwaarlo-sing van kinders aan te meld, isonlangs aangepas.“Hier het ons nou ’n doku-

mentwat sê: ‘Sómoet daar opge-treewordendit isnie onderhan-delbaar nie’,” het dr. HeinieBrand, voorsitter van die Suid-Afrikaanse Onderwysersunie(Wes-Kaap), by die geleentheidaan die sowat 240 afgevaardig-des gesê.

Supa Plas Plastic Recycling cc proposes to increase their recycling operations at their premises.The project involves the recycling of hard plastic waste into a form that can be reused. The current recycling activities(sorting, grinding, washing and bailing of plastic materials) have not exceeded the operational area threshold (of1000m²).
