Report Highlights
JAN 2014
Enterprises are adopting cloud apps across virtually every business function. The following trends are based on billions of cloud app events seen across hundreds of thousands of users from the Netskope Active Platform. Data have been aggregated and anonymized.
While HR is a broad category, an average of 35 such apps per enterprise raises questions about security and compliance.
Even though edit is the most common activity in the Netskope Active Platform, download, share, and upload are the most watched because they can signal data leakage or compliance violations.
According to usage seen in the Netskope Active Platform, Twitter is the most popular cloud app in the enterprise, followed by Dropbox, Google Drive, Salesforce, and Box.
