2 Tokyo
Tradition collides with pop culture in
Tokyo, where you can reverently
wander ancient temples before
rocking out at a karaoke bar. Wake
up before the sun to catch the lively
fish auction at the Tsukiji Market,
then refresh with a walk beneath the
cherry blossom trees that line the
Sumida River. Spend some time in
the beautiful East Gardens of the
Imperial Palace, then brush up on your Japanese history at the Edo-Tokyo
Museum. Don’t forget to eat as much sushi, udon noodles, and wagashi (Japanese
sweets) as your belly can handle.
3 Beijing, China
Move over, Haussmann and
L’Enfant. Beijing's urban planner
beat you by a couple of centuries.
His name is Kublai Khan. Here,
you'll find a wealth of history, both
ancient (the Hall of Preserving
Harmony, Summer Palace,
Forbidden City) and more recent
(Chairman Mao Memorial Hall,
Tiananmen Square). For the best
market experience, choose the Dirt
Market over the touristy Silk Market.
4 Mount Qomolangma (Mount Everest)
Mount Qomolangma is the highest mountain on Earth above sea level, and the
highest point of the earth. Various kinds of endangered rare animals inhabit here,
including snow leopards, pandas also live on the lower side and so on. Scientists
have claimed that about two-thirds of the glacier has melted. Melting glaciers could
lead to the expansion of glacial lakes that would lead to several natural disasters
including floods and landslides.

world's heritage".Taj Mahal is regarded by
many as the finest example of Mughal

elements from Islamic, Persian, Ottoman

Petra is a historical and archaeological city in the southern Jordanian governorate
of Ma'an, that is famous for its rock-cut architecture and water conduit system.

is carved. Established possibly as early as 312 BC as the capital city of the
Nabataeans, it is a symbol of Jordan, as well as its most-visited tourist attraction.
Petra has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985.
7 Singapore
The Singapore cityscape looks like it was ripped from the pages of a science fiction
comic book. If you’re hungry for a true Singapore experience, sample the myriad
street foods or take a cultural cooking class. The Botanic Gardens and the
Gardens By the Bay offer a slice of horticultural heaven, and the observation deck
of the Sands SkyPark makes you feel like you’re high above the clouds. The banks
and walkways along the Singapore River bustle with local activity.
