There you go, making a difference ...
Working at the Cohoes Senior Center, I see people making a difference in the lives of others everyday. It might be in a large way like being a caregiver to a loved one who needs extra special care, but so often, I see people making a difference in small ways. I see you caring enough to hand deliver the newsletter and menus to your friends who don't get out as easily. I hear you making inquiries and seeking help for friends in need. I know you call each other to check up when a friend has been quiet for too many days. Your kindness strengthens the foundation of our community. You make a difference in all of our lives and help enrich the framework of the community we call Cohoes. You know who you are and I want you to know that you are appreciated.
Please keep making a difference.
Congregate Dining is funded in large part through support from the Albany County Department for Aging, the New York State Office for Aging, and the Administration on Aging. Additional support for this program comes from donors and community businesses like you.
