Missing c onfiguration steps are g enerally po inted out by the SAP system.

You nee d to know how to fix these m issing c onfiguration step s.

Ca se 1:-

A missing configuration step error ca n be direc tly maintained from

the error messag e, provided you have the nec essary a uthorization.

You get the fo llow ing error message a s show n below in red traffic signa l:-

Case 2:

In som e cases you are not as lucky as in Case 1. But system

nevertheless still gives you a n error message as to which table needs

to be upda ted.

See the below examp le which show configuration step missing:-

In this ca se the icon is grayed out and therefore you cannot directly go and

ma inta in the configura tion, neither do you ge t any highlighted text m essag e to

proc eed for the rec tifica tion.

Note the down ta ble 169P from the m essage

But in c ase you c an ge t an error that No such ta ble exists then try p refixing the table

name with V_169P

Case 3:

In some ra re cases you a re not a t a ll luc ky as in the earlier 2 cases.

If a configuration step is missing you will only get an error message,

listing a configuration error. No details are available as to what

needs to be done, in this case you need to ac tually go a nd c heck

the relevant configuration steps.

This can be done only if you know the step by step c onfiguration

proc ess required for the module.
