Siler City was chartered on March 7, 1887.

revitalization efforts of the N.C. Arts Incubator Inc., Siler

City Merchants Association, Siler City NC STEP Commu-

nity Leadership Team, and many other downtown busi-

nesses.

Siler City is located within Chatham County, the home

of Jordan Lake which attracts many fishing, boating,

and camping enthusiasts.
